STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS
THIS AGRIlEMENT made the \~.b day of ~w...'ot-v, 1997, by
and between R. E. GRANT COMPANY INC., a corporation, of 342
Walton street, Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, hereinafter referred to as
contractor, AND NORTH MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP, a Second class Town-
ship, its municipal building being located at 211 North Middleton
Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, hereinafter referred to as Owner,
whereby the former undertook and agreed to erect and construct,
either in whole or in part, a municipal building on those two
certain tracts of land situate in North Middleton Township,
cumberland County, pennsylvania, containing 34 acres, more or
less, being Tax Parcel No. 29-06-0019-014. Being the same
premises which Richard H. Swartz et al. by deed dated January 2'7,
1995 and recorded February 1, 1995 in the Cumberland county
Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book 118, Page 141, granted and
conveyed unto North Middleton Township.
NOW THEREFORI, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH I That the said
Contractor, for and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00)
Dollar to it in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and the further consideration mentioned in the
agreement aforesaid, for themselves and their subcontractors, and
all parties acting through or under them, covenant and agree that
no mechanic's liens or claims shall be filed or maintained by
them or any of them against the said buildings and the lot of
ground appurtenant thereto for or on account of any work done or
materials furnished by them or any of them under said contract or
