Later lhlIt morning after the plaintiff got up, the defendanl
became angry again, pinned her up againsllhe door jam, and
repealedly hit her In the chest causing her to fear for her safety.
b, On or about Seplember 20, 1997, the defendant repeatedly
punched the plaintiff in the face culling her lip.
c. In or ahout June 1997, the defendant jahbed the tip of a
knife in the plaintifl's stomach cau.,ing a cUI, threalened to kill her,
and repeatedly hit her on th~ head with a lelephune,
d, In or about November 1996, the defendant rc;peatedly
punched the plaintiff, chased her around her father's house with a
loaded gun, and threatened 10 kill her causing her to fear for her life.
e. Since approximately the ~pling of 19!16, the defendant has
on several different occasions, threatened to kill the plaintiff, back-
handed her across the face, punched her, kicked her, slapped her,
bit her, bumed her with cigarettes, hit her in Ihe head with phones,
held knives to her body, and pulled her out of a car and repeatedly
punched her.
6. On or about September 30, 1997, the left her residence at 203 S, High Street, #3,
M~hanic8burg, Cumberland Counly, Pennsylvania, in order to avoid further abuse.
7. The plaintiff bclieVl:8 and therefore aven that she ill in immediate and preaont
danger of abuse from the defendant should she relUm to the home without the defendant's
exclusion and that she is in need of proteetion from such abuse,

B. Schedule a hearing in accordance with the provisions of the "Protection from
AbUlle Act, " llIId, after such hearing. enter an order to be in effect for a period of one year:

Abuse Act nurrber 97-5410 issued on 10 October 97 by Judge Kevin A. Hess for Judge George E.
Hoffer which order directed that the Defendant from harassing, stalking or abusing the victim,
Linda G. Roberts. ~~e Defendant did on 11/23/97 at approxin~tely 1720 hrs., strike the victim,
Linda G. Roberts with a closed fist to the face causing a swollen & bleeding lower lip, he
did bite her on the noae causing injury including bruising, swelling & bleeding, he did

AND NOW, this 9th day of December, 1997, sentence
of the court is that the defendant pay the costs of prosecution,
~nd undergo imprisonment in the Cumberland County Prison for a
period of not less than fourteen days nor more than six months.
It appearing that he is deserving of credit for time served from
November 23, 1997, he is paroled effective immediately on
condition that he enter into intensive outpatient drug and
