CarpoteIVlctory but thoy rejUsed or neslccted to oWer the Defendant the remedial
mllllsuros.
12. Heeding tho school dlatrice s demands, the Defondlllt replaced the Inferior .
product and incurred a cost in excess of THREE THOUSAND IIld XX/loo (53,000.00)
DOLLARS.
13. Due to World Carpet!Victory's faulty product and the above t'acts, the school
district tennlnllted the Defondant's contractulll agroement to provide carpetins for othor
schools in the district.

2. Your ~espondent herein Is the defendant, Carpet Source, Inc'l a I'ennsylvanla
Corporation of 616 Park Hills Drive, Mechanlcsburg, Pennsylvania.
3. In the within described action a complaint was lIIed on or about November 24,
1997 by the above l1amed plalntln' against the above named Defendant.
4. Respondent, Carpet Source, hlc. re,ained the services of GRIFFIE &
ASSOCIATES and Thomas S. Diehl, Esquire who was associated whh th's
flrm at the time, which provided fur the llllng of an Answer on January 20,
1998.

Since that time there have been limited negotiations which have brought the
parties close to a resolution In this matter outside ofthe litigation.
