Archbold & O'Brien, L.L,P; and Respondents, Cumberland County Board of
Assessment Appeals and Cumberland County, by lis attorney, Stephen D, Tiley,
Esquire; and Interveners/Respondents, Cumberland Valley School DI~trlct and
Township of Hampden, by their attorneys, Snelbaker, Brenneman & Spare, P,C"ls as
follows:
1, On November 18, 1997 Pelllloner flied a Pellllon for Appeal from the
Assessment of the Cumberland County Board of Assessment Appeals, to which an
Order fixing a date and place for a hearing was entered on December 6. 1997. The
hearing was thereafter continued generally upon agreement of counsel. The parlles .
have now setlled this case.
2, The applicable year for which the above captioned assessment appeal

3, The property whloh Is the subleot of this appeal Is Oumberland Oounty
Assessment Paroel No, 10-22-0531-010 and 1$ known as 3602 Incfl/slrlal Park Road,
Hampden Townshlp, Penn8ylvanla. The property Is situate In Hampden Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
4. The parties stipulate that the total market value of the sUb/eot property BS of
the date the original petition to the Cumberland County Board of Assessment Appeals
was flied shall be fixed at $640,000,00.
5, The oommon level ratio applicable to this appeal for the 1996 tax year, as
oortlfled by the State Tax Equalization Board on or bdoro J'JI~' 1, 1997, is 7%,
Applying the oommon level ratio to the total ll1arket value of the subleot property
results In Its lawful total assessment being $44,600,00, The common level ratio varies
by more than 15% from the Cumberland Oounty predetermined ratio, whloh Is 25%,
and therefore the common level ratio Is applicable to this appeal and the assessment
shall be fixed at the said $44,600.00,
6, The Cumberland County Assessor's Office shall 'allocate the total
assessment between land and Improvements as provided by law and the prooedures
of the Cumberland County Assessment Office,
7, The new assessment shall be effeotlve for tax years beginning on and after
January 1, 1996 and shall remain unchanged unless and until changed as otherwise
prOVided by law and shall therefore be Implemented retroactively for 1996 County and
Township real estate taxes and Implemented on July 1, 1998 for 1998'9f1 Sohool real
estate taxes.
8, The Cumberland County Assessment Office shall promptly notify the
appropriate taxing bodies of the ohange In assessment, and Instruct the County of , .
Cumberland and Township of Hampden to make any appropriate refunds for the
calendar tax year beginning January 1, 1998,
