AND NOW, comes Harris Savings Bank by and through its counsel, Richard C, Ruben, Esquire and
slates the following in support of its Complaint:
I, The PlaintirT is Harris Savings Bank, formerly First Federal Saving and Loan Association of Harrisburg,
a Corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and having its
principal place of business at Second and Pine Streets, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101.
2, The Defendants are Francis C, Gormarl and Alice M, Gorman, husband and wife, adult individuals whose
last known address are 6347 Stephen's Crossing, Cumberland County, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055,
3, Defendants on July 23, 1987 entered into a Mortgage loan indenture with First Federal Savings and Loan
Association now Harris Savings Bank, in the principal amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000,00), the terms
of which loan are more specifically evidenced and set forth in the Prirne Line Agreement dated July 23, 1987,
and recorded July 27, 1987, in the Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in Mortgage Book 875, Page
17, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A" which mortgage

contains and is a lien upon the property situate at 6347 Stephen's Crossings, Cumberland County,
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055,
4, A copy of the Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "B".
5. Plaintiff, in consideration of the said Mortgage and Note advanced to Francis C, Gorman and Alice M,
Gormlw. the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000,00),
6, The premises subject to said mortgage is more specifically set forth in Exhibit "A".
7, Francis C, Gorman and Alicr. M, Gorman are the sole owners of the said premises securing said
rnortgage,
8. Said Mortgage has not been assigned in whole or in part by the Plaintiff herein.
9, That said Mortgage is in default because Defendants herein have failed to rnake the following payments:
payments of: $ 344,91 for March, 1997
380,68 for April, 1997
368.40 for May and June, 1997
380,68 for July and August, 1997
356.12 for September, 1997
392,96 for October, 1997; and
380,68 for November, 1997 plus late charges totaling $148,61.
10, The Plaintiff has given to the Defendants written notice of intention to foreclose on said Mortgage as
required by law under Act 6, dated July 2, 1997, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein
as Exhibit "C",
II, The Plaintiff has given w.itten notice of default as required by the Homeowner's Emergency Assistance
Act of 1983, dated July 2,1997, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "D".
12, That on July 23, 1992 this loan matured and became payable in full.

13. That on November IS, 1996 and Amended Agreement was executed by Defendants wherein they were
granted an extension with a maturity date of June 1, 1997, A copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference as Exhibit "E",

14, That due to Defendants' default the entire principal amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000,00) has
becorne due and payable, together with interest at the current rate of 12% per annum, reascnable legal fees for
collection of said sum in accordance with the terms of said mortgage less such sums as have been paid on ~
account of principal of the said Mortgage and costs,
13. The Plaintiff believes and therefore avers that reasonable attorney's fees for collection of the debt is
$2,060.00 and that it will incur such amounts.
16, The Defendants a~e liable to the Plaintiff for interest at the rate of 12% per annum, late charges, property
taxes and expenses as provided in the Mortgage documents that will accrue until distribution by the Sheriff of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to be computed at the time of judgment in these proceedings, in addition
to the current balance,
17. The Defendants are liable to the Plaintiff for the following on said Mortgage loan:

WHEREFORE, Plaintiff, Harris Savings Bank demands Judgrnent in its favor and against Defendants
Francis C. Gorman and Alice M. Gorman in the amount of $43,269.95 plus interest at the current rate of 12%
from December 1, 1997, until paid, additional late charges and costs of preserving the collateral and costs of
suit.

This Amendment to Agreement amends and modifies the
PRIME LINE CREDIT AGREEMENT (the "Aareement")
between each Borrower signing below and
THE HARRIS SAVINGS BANK of Pennsvlvania (the "Lender")
Formerly The Harris Savings Association
The Agreement is secured by a mortgage on the Borrower's home or
other residential real property. The origina1. Agreement dated July
1, 1987 provides for the debt to be repaid in full including all
outstanding and unpaid interest, late charges, etc. pursuant to the
Agreement's terms which matures on July 1, 1992.
In consideration of the following mutually advantageous changes to
the Agreement, Borrower(s) and Lender agree that:
1. No further advances will be requested or permitted;
2. Borrower(s) will pay $575.00 by the 15th of each month,
consisting of principal and interest.
J. Term of the Agreement will end June 1, 1997 (maturity
date) at which time the entire amount of the debt will be
due and owing.
Except tor the changes imposed by this Amendment to Agreement, all
terms and conditions in the Agreement remain in full force and
effect.
