a. 011 or ubout November 24, 1997, lhe dclel\lllml screamed at
the plalntlll' causing her 10 lear till' her Bafety. When she altempled
to telepholle for help, the defendant gmbbed the telephone away
Irom her, grabbed her by both arms caWling marks, and forcclillly
plL~hed her onto a bed. The plnlntiff struWed free, ran out of the
apartment, lUId ealled the police.
b, In or about September 1997, Ihe defendant threalened to kill
the plailltllT nnd himself: Fearing for her salely, Ihe plnintifl' cnlled
Ihe police, lUId the defendallt Wll8 hospitalized in Holy Spirit
1I0spitnl for approximately a week.
c. In or about June 1997, tile delcndanlleft repealed messnges
011 the plnintitrs pager nnd answering machine threatening that he
was never going to leave or alone, she would never gel him out of
her life, and if he had to, he would kill her causing her to fear for
her safely. The plaintiff contacted the Enst Pennsboro Police who
issued a verbal wnming to the defendant not to bother her.
d. In or about May 1997. Ihe defendant slieed his wrists in an
attempt to kill himself and then threatened to kill the plaintiff. The
defendlUlt was admitted to Holy Spirit Hospitnl where ho underwent
trenlmr:nl for npproximalely two weeks.
e. On severnl ditferent occllsions since December 26, 1996, the
