STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS

hercinat\er referrcd to as Owncr, whercby thc formcr undcrtook and agrccd to crect and construet
a housing rchabilitation project in I"e Bllrtl/IK" II/Carlisle .
NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said Contractor, lor and in
consideration of the sum of Onc Dollar ($1.00) to and in hand paid by Owner. the receipt
whereof is hcreby acknowlcdgcd. and the furlhcr consideration mcntloncd in the Agrecment
afurcsaid, for thcmsclves and their suhcol1tructors. and all partics acting through or under them,
covcnant and agree that no mcchanic's liens or claims shall bc tilcd or maintaincd by thcm or any
of thcm against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtcnant thereto lor or on account of
Wly work donc or matcrials furnishcd by thcm or any of thcm undcr suid contract or otherwisc,
for, towards, in, or ubout the erection WId construction of thc said buildings on thc lot above
dcscribed und thc said Contractor, for themselves. thcir subcontractors and others under them
hereby expressly waive and relinquish the right to have, tilc, and maintain any mcchanic's liens
or claims against the said buildings or any of them. and agrec that this inslrurncnt. waiving the
right oflien, shall be an independent covenant.
