STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS
THIS AOREEMENT made the 19th day o/Nowmher, 1997 by and betwecn
Gro.I'.\' Comtmetlon and Herman & Shenk hereinal\er referred to liS Contractor,

Verdella M. Davis
hereinafter referred to as Owner. whcreby thc former undertook IInd agreed to ereet and construct
II housing rehabilitation project in ClImberland ('Ollllly .
NOW THEREFORE, nlls AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: Thut thc said Contraclor, for unu in
considemtion of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to and in hand paid by Owner, the receipt
whereof is hercby acknowledged. and the further consideration mcntioned inthc Agreement
aforcsaid, lor themselves and theil' subcontractors, and all partics acting through or undcr thcm,
covenant and agree that no mechWJic' s liens or claims shall be tiled or maintained by thcm or any
of them against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtcnant thcreto for or on account of
MY work done or materials furnishcd by them or any of thcm under said contract or otherwisc,
for, towards, in, or aboutthc erection and construction of the said buildings on thc lot above
described and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and othcrs under them
hcrcby cxpressly waive und relinquish the right to have, tile, and maintain any mechanic's liens
or claims against the said buildings or any of thcm, and agree that this instrumcnt, waiving the
right of lien, shall be an independent covcnant.
