AND NOW comes Rebecca Hyle and Bruce Hyle through their attomcy, Lindsay Dare
Baird, Esquire, and set forth the following answer to the Complaint:
I. Admitted, to the extent that Defendants received the retum receipt signed by the Plaintiff and
dated February 28, 1998.
2. Admitted that events of September and October 1997 led to grievance between parties.
Denied. Plaintiff gave Defendants a 1101I-rq/illldable deposit 01'$300.00 on that date. Denied.
Plaintifrs agreement with Defendants was not contingcnt upon Plaintiff securing a second job.
3. Admittcd that $ I 05.00 was rcccived on October 4, 1997, thrce days allcr board paymcnt was
duc. Denied. Defendants have no knowledge of the source of the payment.

4. Denied. Defendants arc without knowledge or infonnation sufficient to foml a belief as to the
truth of the avem1Cnt. Proof is demanded to the extent it is relevant to the matter.
5. Admitted the parties attempted to contact one another by telephone.
6. Admitted. However, Plaintiffinfonned Defendants that no payments would be made to
Defendants for at least two weeks, putting the agreed upon payments five weeks in arrears. The
parties understood this money was needed for Defendants to purchase another horse.
7. Admitted.
8. These arc procedural avennents, not required for pleading, and do not require a response.
