RE: Howard Brooks - Insufficient Funds
To Whom It May Concern:
This leller shall serve as explanation of the insuflicient funds concerning the check he
wrote to your office on 8/31/00 for $15.00. At the time the check was issued, our
company was going through a conversion process for our check writing services. Our
new provider issued checkbooks to all clients who had check writing services with our
company within the last couple of years. Mr. Brooks at one point had a joint account
with his late mother. At the same time of this conversion. Mr. Brooks requested check
. writing services on his individual account. When Mr. Brooks received a checkbook in
the mail, he thought it was for his individual account. unfortunately it was for the joint
account.
This was a conversion error. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused
you. We have instructed Mr, Brooks to destroy the incorrect checks and utilize the
checks for his individual account. If you have any further questions about this
