The Plaintiff is an adult individual residing at 312 2nd Street, West Fairview, Pennsylvania 17025. 2. The Defendant is an adult individual residing at 4907 Sugar Shack Lane, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17011. 3. The facts and occurrences hereinafter related took place on or about November 13, 2001 at approximately 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Route 11 and Gateway Drive, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 4. At the time and place aforesaid, Plaintiff was the owner and operator of a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck, which was then and there stopped on Route 11 for a red traffic light. 5. At the time and place aforesaid, Defendant was the owner and operator of a 1994 Ford Taurus, and drove her vehicle into the rear of the Plaintiff's pickup truck causing the damages hereinafter set forth. 6. The aforesaid accident and damages resulting therefrom were caused by the negligence of the Defendant in that she: a) operated her vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating beverages; b) failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles; c) operated her vehicle at a speed so as to be unable to stop within the assured clear distance ahead; and d) operated her vehicle at an excessive speed under the circumstances. 7. Solely as a result of Defendant's negligence, Plaintiff sustained damages to his vehicle in the amount of ELEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE and 30/100 ($11,271.30) DOLLARS.
