8. The adoption took place in or about 1975, in Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania,
9, Subsequent to the adoption, Dennis maintained limited contact with his natural
father, Dennis Rupp, which contact decreased in amount as the years
progressed.
10. In or about July 1988, Dennis' natural mother and Robert Trimmer divorced.
11. Thereafter, around the time of his graduation from high school, Dennis
reestablished contact with his natural father, and has maintained a close
relationship with him since that time,
12. Dennis had maintained contact with his adoptive father, Robert Trimmer, until
approximately November 1997. when all contact was discontinued upon
agreement of both parties,
13. Dennis has had no contact with his adoptive father since November 1997, but
maintains regular contact with his natural mother and natural father.
14. Dennis desires to retake his birth name, Dennis A. Rupp, as he has
reestablished and has maintained for some time a close relationship to his
natural father, Dennis Rupp, and has discontinued a relationship with his
adoptive father, Robr.rt Trimmer, whose surname he now bears.
15. Tracy desires to change her name to Tracy L. Rupp based upon her husband's
desire to change his own name and for the sake of family unity and
consistency,
16. Dennis and Tracy currently have one child together, Dennis J. Trimmer, born
August 4, 1996, whose surname they also desire to change,

hearing of the Petition of Dennis A. Trimmer and Tracy L. Trimmer, for a change of name
for themselves, as well as their minor son, Dennis J.R. Trimmer, and upon motion of
Michelle R, Calvert, Esquire, attorney for Petitioners and presentation of proof of
publication of notice, as required by law, together with proof that there are no judgments
or decrees of record or any other matter of like effect against the subjects of the Petition,
other than those indicated, and it appearing that there are no legal objections to the
granting of the prayer of the Petition,
IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that the names of petitioners, Dennis A.
Trimmer and Tracy L. Trimmer, are hereby changed to Dennis A. Rupp and Tracy L.
Rupp, respectively. It Is filrther ordered that the name of the Petitioner's minor son,
Dennis James Robert Trimmer, is hereby changed to Dennis James Rupp.
