FAMILY SETTLEMENT AND FINAL RELEASE
IN THE
ESTATE OF VERA H. JONES
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WHEREAS, Vera H. Jones of
Upper Allen Township, cumberland County, Pennsylvania, deceased,
died on November 21, 1996, having first made her Last will and
Testament, which was duly executed on December 16, 1982, and is
duly recorded in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Estate No. 2196-
01000.
WHEREAS, the said Vera H. Jones, by the aforesaid Last Will
and Testament, named Luther G, Heist, Jr, as Executor of said Last
will and Testament;
WHEREAS, the said personal representative has gathered the
assets of the estate of the said decedent and the assets consist of
real property and personal property to a total value of
$226,163.45, as set forth in Exhibit "A", which is a statement of
account of the said personal representative, and which is attached
hereto;
WHEREAS, the debts and deductions, including the payment of
inheritance tax in the said estate, amount to $62,980.82, leaving
a balance for distribution of $163,182.63, also as set forth in the
statement of the said personal representative, which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, and marked Exhibit "8";
NOW THEREFORE, KNOW YE, that we, Anna H. Collier, John H.
Jones, and Luther G. Heist, Jr., being the sole heirs under the
Last Will and Testament of the said decedent, and being the persons
entitled to inherit under said Last Will and Testament, do hereby
acknowledge that we have this day had and received from the
aforesaid personal representative, in fulJ satisfaction and payment
of all sum or sums of money, legacies, bequests, and devises as are
given, devised and bequeathed to me by the said Last will and
Testament, which amount we have received this day, and wh1ch is the
amount set opposite my name in the table and schedule of
distribution in said statement attached hereto and marked Exhibit
II e" ;
AND, we do hereby stipulate that in order Lo avoid the expense
and time involved in the filing of a formal account and schedule of
distribution, we agree that no accounL is necessary and we do
hereby agree and consent to distribution being made without the
filing of an account and schedule of distribution, the same to be
with the same force and effect as if i r had been filed and
confirmed by the Orphan's Court Division of the CourL of Common
pleas of Cumberland County.
THEREFORE, we de hereby remise, release, quitclaim and forever
d1scharge the said personal representative, his heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns, of and trom the said estate and from
FIRST AND FINAL ACCOUNT OF THE
