LAST WIL~ AND TESTAMIlli!
I. VIOLA .M. PAXTON, of Carlisle. Cumherland County, Pennsylvania, being 'of
sound mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this as and for
my last will and teatament, hereby revoking and maki"g void all former wills by me
at any time heretofore made.
FIRS1'. I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses, including all
inheritance taxes that may be assessed against my estate, be fully paid and
satisfied out of my eBtate by my personal representativo(B) hereinafter named
as soon aa conveniently may be done after my decease. I suggest that the. proceeds
from my Hfe insurance be first applied toward the payment of my funeral and other
expenses.
SECOND. I give and bequeath the furnIture, household items and personal
belongings on which I have marked names to the person or persons who are named
on such items.
Any furniture, household itema and personal belongings not marked shall be
divided among my three children, namely, Merle M. Paxton, Robert L. Paxton and
Clara J. Stringfellow, to the extent they desire and provIded they can amicably
agree. Any items not desired or divided shall be disposed of at the sole discretion
of my personal representative(s) hereinafter named in any manner they shall fit to
direct.
THIRD. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whatsoever and
wherever situate, I give, devise and bequeath in four equal shares, ahare and
share alike, as follows:
A. One of auch shres to my son, Merle M. Paxton, or to his issue if he
should predecease me.
B. One of such shares to my son, Robert L. Paxton, or to his issue if
he should predecease me.
C. One of such shares to my daughter, Clara J. Stringfellow, or to her
issue H she should predecease me <
D. One of such fJhares to the children of my deceased Bon, namely, Wayne
E. Paxton, Jr. and SUBan Jardine, in equal sharee.
LASTLY, I nominate, constitute and appoint my three children, Merle M.
