The Petition of Raymond A, Burdge, Sr,. respectfully Sllltes liS follows:
I, Marlene J, Burdge (Decedent) died on December 15. 1996. domiciled in Silver
Spring Township (67 Glendale Drive. Mechanicsburg). Cumberland County. Pennsylvania,
2, Petitioner is Raymond A, Burdge. Sr,. of Silver Spring Township (67 Glendale
Drive. Mechanicshurg). Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. the widower of the Dl~cedent.
3, Petitioner and Decedent were marricd on January 9j 1960 in Williamsport. Maryland.
and continued to live together as hushand and wife through the death of the Decedent.
4. Decedent died testate Icaving a Will dated January 24. 1994. thc original of \vhich is
attached to this Petition as Exhihit "A" and is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if fully set
forth herein, Petitioner doc,s not intend to file said Last Will and Testament for probate as this is a
small estate with a single asset.
5. The Last Will and Testament of Decedent leaves her entire residuury estate to her
husband. Raymond A, Burdge. Sr,. your Petitioner.
6, All of the realllnd personal assets of the Decedent were jointly owned with her
husband. the Petitioner. except that Deced(~nt is onc of the beneficiaries of the Estate of Vernal D,
John~on, who was the gmndmotber of thc Decedent. and who died on Murch I. 1996 in
Lewistown. Pennsylvania. and whose estate is filed to No, 31-96-0055 in Huntingdon County.

7, Attached hereto as Exhihit "B"and incorporatcd herein by rcferencc thereto is a copy
of a IC\lcrdated January 22. 1997 from AttoJ'llcyHUI'vey B, Reeder who rcprcscnlslhe Eslale of
Vernal D, Johnson and which letter cnclosed a check made payable to Marlin [sic] Burdge in the
amount of $4.583,33, Upon inquiry to Attorney Reeder's office. your Petitioner is advised that

MARLINZ J. BURDOI
I, Marlene J. Burdge, of the Borough of Mechanicsburg, county
of Cumberland and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, do hereby declare
this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void
any wills heretofore made by me.
FIRST: I direct my hereinafter named Executor to pay all my
just debts and funeral expenses heretofore made by me.
SECOND:

property in accordance with my wishes which are
a Letter of Instruction which is with this Will.
THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and
remainder of my estate, of whatsoever nature and wheresoever
situate, to my husband, RAYMOND A. BURDGE, SR.
FOURTH: In the event my husband, RAYMOND A. BURDGE, SR. pre-
deceases me, I then give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue
and remainder of my estate, of whatsoever nature and wheresoever
situate to my son, RAYMOND A. BURDGE, JR., my daughter, CONNIE JO
WAGGONER, and my daughter, DONNA R. WEWER, in equal shares, per
stirpes.
FIFTH: I nominate, constitute and appoint RAYMOND A. BURDGE,
SR. ExecuteI' of this my Last Will and Testament. In the event he
pre-deceases me, or is unable or unwilling to act as Executor, I
nominate, constitute and appoint RAYMOND A. BURDGE, JR. Executor of
this my Last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
24th day of January, 1994.
