I, LUCY BLANCHE BATY, of the 'rownship of South tliddleton,
COUnty ot Cumberland, and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound
and d1,sposing mind, memory 4nd understanding, do make, publish
and declare this to be lny Last Will and Testament, hereby
revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time
heretofore made.
1.
I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral
expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
2.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my Estate, real,
personal and mixed, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, I give,
devise and bequeath unto my sister, Eva Grace Baty, for her own
use absolutely.
3.
Should my said sister, Eva Grace Baty, have predeceased me,
tllen all the rest, residue and remainder of my Estate, real,
personal and mixed, whatsoever and wherasoever situate, I give,
devise and bequeath in six (6) equal shares, as follows:
A. One (1) share to Romilda Rae McClung Baty, the
wife of our beloved deceased brother, Owen Carroll Baty,
currently of Okeene, Oklahoma. Should she predecease me,
her share is to be divided equally among my brothers and
sisters named below.
B. One (1) share to my sister, Linda Mae Baty Smith,
currently of Penn Township. Should she predecease me,
her share is to go to her spouse. Should both of them
predecease me, then this gift shall lapse into the residue.
C. One (1) share to my sister, Erma Lee Baty Heiser,
currently of 911 Burnthouse Road, Carlisle. Should she
predecease me, her share is to go to her spouse. Should
both of them predecease me, then this gift shall lapse
into the residue.
(0) One (1) share to my brother, Clyde Harold Baty,

his share is to go to his spouse. Should both of them
predecease me, then this gift shall lapse into the
residue.
(E) One (1) share to my sister, Mary Louise Baty
Spangler, currently of Boiling Springs. Should she pre-
decease me, her share is to go to her spouse. Should both
of them predecease me, then this gift shall lapse into the
residue.
(F) One (1) share to my si.ster, Edna Lillian Baty
Yinger, currently of Creek Road, Mechanicsburg. Should she
predecease me, her share is to go to her spouse. Should
both of them predecease me, then this gift shall lapse into
the residue.
4.
I nor,linate, constitute and appoint my sister, Eva Grace
Baty, to be the Executrix of th,is, my Last will and Testament.
If ~he should predecease me, or for any other reason be unable to
act as Executrix, I appoint my niece, Janet L. Baty, currently of
223 Bonnybrook Road, Carlisle and Lucinda Heiser, currently of
34 White Oak Drive, Carlisle, to be the Co-Executrices in her
place and stead. I further direct that they shall not be
required to file bond or other security in the Office of the
Register of wills for the purpose of administering my Estate.
5.
I authorize and empower my personal representative, in her
sole and absolute discretion, to purchase or otherwise acquire
and retain any investments of which I die seized, or any real or
personal property of any nature1 to sell, lease, pledge,
mortgage, transfer, exchange, dispose of, or grant options in
regard to any or all property of any kind forming a part of my
Estate for such terms and such prices as she may deem advisable;
to borrow money for any purposes connected with the protection
and preservation of my Estate; to mortgage or pledge any real or
personal property forming a part of my Estate1 or to join in or
