and Testament, herehy revoking nil former Wills and Codicils heretofore mndo hy me.
I. All of my just dehts shull he pnid out of my estute ns soon ns pructicnhle, but my Executor
need not accelerate and pny those unmatured obligutions which, in his opinion, it might be proper and
more advuntageous to retain or renew und pay us they hecome dlW und pnyable.
2. I herehy constitute ami appoint illY only child, William Martin Sloane, 26 Shepherd Road,
Newville, Pennsylvunia 17241-1102, as Executor of this my Lust Will and Testament. In the event thul
he should die he fore u~dertaking or before comrleting this responsihility, or should refuse or decline to
accept this appointment, then I hereby wnstitute and appoint my duughter-in-Iaw, Susun Ankney Sloane,
26 Shepherd Road, Newville, Pennsylvania 17241-1102, to he the Executrix of this my Last Will and
Testament. In the event that she should die before undertaking or he fore completing this responsihility,
or should refuse or decline to uccept this appointment, then I herehy constitute Stephen Clllig Nudel, 219
Pine Street, lIarrisburg, Pennsylvania, to he the Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
3. I herehy give, hequealh and devise all of my property, real, pel'llonal and mixed, of every kind
and description, and wherever located, over which I shall have any power of appointment (it heing my
intention to exercise any power of appoinlment which I may have) to my son William Martin Sloane in
fee simple ahsolute.
4. In the event that William Martin Sloane predeceases me, or that we die simultaneously, then
I give, bequeath and devise nil of my property, renl, pel'llllllal and mixed, of every kind and description,
and wherever located, over which I have any power of appointment (it heing my intention to exercise any
pOwer of appointment which I may have) to my glllnddaughter Sam Marie Sloane and any other of my
grandchildren living al the time of my death, alias joint tenants with the right of survivol'llhip, share and
shure alike, or, if there be only one such gl'llndchild, then to him or hcr in fee simple absolutl:.
5. In extension and not in limitation of the powel'll given by law or other provisions of this Will
to my Executor and any successor Executor in the management, care and disposition of my estate, said
Exccutor shull have the power 10 do nil things und to execute such instruments ns they shall deem
necessary and propel', including the following powers, all of which may he e~ercised without order of or
report to any officer, court or trihunal: (u) If the administmtion of my estule is required in any
jurisdiction in which my Executor herein numed cannot serve 1(11' any reason, he shall he authorized to
appoint an Executor or other fiduciary to serve in suid jurisdiction. (h) My E~ecutor shall serve without
heing I'equired to muke or /ile any inventory or apprnisai, except as hereinafter provided, or to lilc any
annlUll or other returns or rcports to uny officer or court, or to give any hoad whether or not my E~ecutor
shall be a resilient: 01' if it hond is required hy luw, hut a surety is not mUf.le mandatory hy law, no surety
c.n such hond stulll he required. (c) My Executor shall file such return" as mny hc required under the tax
laws of the United States, any state, any politicul subdivision of any state, or any f(lreign country and shall
make any election pernlittcd hy luw, if in hcr opinion such election is in the hest interest of my estate.
(d) My Exccutor muy give to any co-Executor power of attorney to uct fur or sign the name of such
