RUTH A. BOWERMASTER
I, Ruth A. Bowermaster, declare this to be my will, hereby
revoking all prior wills and codicils.
I, I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars in cash and my alabaster fruit and fruit stand to my
friend, Wanda Flanagan, who presently resides in Etters,
pennsylvania.
II. I direct that all of the contents of my residence,
garage, tool shop and fu.rnace room, and my automobile be sold
under such terms as my Executors shall deem appropriate, except
those items which my son, Sam R. Scandrol, elects to receive in
kind, and I give and bequeath the net cash proceeds thereby
realized, together with all of my cash held in savings and
checking accounts and savings bonds, to my said son, Sam R.
Scandrol, who presently resides in New Cumberland, Pennsyl-
vania, if he survives me. Further, I direct that the entire
sum of this bequest shall be used to purchase an insurance
annuity contract for the sole benefit of my said son so as to
provide him monthly income under such terms and conditions as
my,Executors shall deem appropriate. If my son should
predecease me, or die at any time before the annuity payments

bequest, or. any remaining proceeds thereof, shall be paid and
,divided equally between Enola Emanuel United Methodist Churoh
and The Humane Society of Harrisburg, the funds to be used as
the respective governing bodies of said organizations shall
deem appropriat.e.
III. I direct that my residential real estate tract shall
be sold under such terms and conditions as my Executors shall
deem appropriate, except that the property shall not be sold to
the West Enola Fire Company, or its successor organization, nor
to any member of said fire company or its successor organiza-
tion, and I give and bequeath the net prooeeds realized there-
from to the following persons in equal shares:
a. Philippe Scandrol, my grandson, who pre-
sently resides in Paris, France, or his issue, per
stirpes.
b. Valerie Scandrol, my granddaughter, who
presently resides in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, or
her issue per stirpes.
o. Patricia Wilson, my granddaughter, who pre-
~ently resides in WaUkegan, Illinois, or her issuer
per stirpes.

If any legatee named in this paragraph pr.edeceases me without
issue, his or her. share shall be distributed equally among the
other legatees named in this paragraph, or their issue, per

IV. If any beneficiary should die within sixty (60) days
after me, then he shall be deemed to have predeceased me for
all purposes of this will.
V. No interest of any beneficiary hereunder shall be
subject to anticipation, pledge, assignment, sale or transfer
in any manner, nor shall any beneficiary have power in any
manner to charge or encumber his interest, nor shall the inter-
est of any beneficiary be liable or subject in any manner while
in the possession of my fiduciaries for any l.iability of such
beneficiary, whether such liability arises from his debts,
contracts, torts, or other engagements of any type.
VI. Any amounts or assets which are payable or distribu-
table to a minor or incompetent: hereunder may, at the discre-
tion of my fiduciaries, be paid or distributed to the parent or

Will 'which was subscribed, sworn to and acknowledged by me 6n
May 16, 1986.
1. I hereby rescind in its entirety Item I of my said
will, thus revoking any bequest to Wanda Flanagan.
2. So that no misunderstanding may exist regarding the
cash bequests to my son, Sam R. Scanrlrol, as set forth in Item
II of said Will, I wish to clarify my intention that no part of

the cash bequeathed therein shall be paid directly to my said
son, but rather all of said cash from whatever source shall be
used for the purchase of an insurance annuity contract in hi.~
favor with a minimum payout period of ten years.
3. Except as heretofore stated, any and all other
provisions of my said Will shall remain in full force and
effect.
4. It is my request that G. Thomas Miller, EsquJ,re, .of
Harrisburg, pennsylvania, or another member of his law firml be
retained by my executors to act as their ,attorney in the
management and settlement of my estate.

11 Rut~ A. Bowermaster, declare this to be my will, hereby
revoking all prior wills and codicils.
I. I give and bequeath the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars in cash and my alabaster fruit and fruit stand to my
friend, Wanda Flanagan, who presently resides in Etters,
Pennsylvania.
II. I direct that all of the contents of my residence,
garage, tool shop and furnace room, and my automobile be sold
under such terms as my Executors shall deem appropriate, except
those items which my son, Sam R. Scandrol, elects to receive in
kind, and I give and bequeath the net cash proceeds thereby
realized, together with all of my cash held in savings and
checking accounts and savings bonds, to my said son, Sam R.
Scandrol, who presently resides in New Cumberland, Pennsyl-
vania, if he survives me. Further,! direct that the entire
sum of this bequest shall be used to purchase an insurance
annuity contract for the sole benefit of my said son so as to
provide him monthly income under such terms and conditions as
my Executors shall deem appropriate. If my son should
predecease me, or die at any time before the annuity payments

d. Eric Scandrol, my grandson, who presently
resides in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, or his issue,
per stirpes.
e. Mildred Mills, my niece, and her husband,
Paul Mills, or the s'urvivor of them, or their issue,

If any legatee named in this paragraph predeceases me wfthoat
issue, his or her share shall be distributed equally among the
other legatees named in this paragraph, or their issue, per
stirpes.
IV. If any beneficiary should die within sixty (60) days
after me, then he shall be deemed to have predeceased me for
all purposes of this will.
V. No interest of any beneficiary hereunder shall be
subject to anticipation, pledge, assignment, sale or transfer
in any manner, nor shall any beneficiary have power in any
manner to charge or encumber his interest, nor shall the inter-
est of any beneficiary be liable or subject in any manner while
in the possession of my fiduciaries for any liability of such
beneficiary, whether such liability arises from his debts,
contracts, torts, or other engagements of any type.
VI. Any amounts or assets which are payable or distribu-
table to a minor or incompetent hereunder may, at the discre-
tion of my fiduciaries, be paid or distributed to the parent or

options to buy or lease upon, or otherwise dispose of
any property, real or personal, at the time held by
them, at public or private sale or otherwise, for cash
or other consideration or on credit, and upon such
terms and for such price as they may determine.
(b) To employ such brokers, banks, custodians,
investment counsel, attorneys, and other agents, and
to delegate to them such duties, rights and powers as
they may determine, and for such periods as they think
fit.
VIII.
I direct that all estate, inheritance, and succession
taxes that may be assessed in consequence of my death, of what-
ever nature and by whatever jurisdiction imposed, shall be paid
