hereinafter described, In the Borough of Wormleysbllrg, County of Cumborland and
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, the said Allan F, Hess died, testate, on the 12th day of September 1997, rond Letters
Testamentary were duly Issued to ALl.ENA M, BENNETT; and
WHEREAS, the lands herein-mentioned were not specifically devised:
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, that the said ALLENA M. BENNETT,
EKecutrlK, as aforssald, for and In consideration of tho sum of Eighty Thousand and 00/100
($80,000,00) Dollars and other good and valuable considerations, to her 111 hand paid by the
said ROBERT W, OSTERLING, at and before the enseallng and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof
Is hereby aCknowledgBd, has granted, bargained, eOld, aliened, released, and conllrmed, and by
these presents, by virtue of the power and authority In her vested by the Fiduciaries Act of the
Commonwealth 01 Pennsylvania, doas grant, bargain, sell, allan, release, and oonflrm unto the
said ROBERT W. OSTERLING, his heirs and assigns,
ALL THOSE CERTAIN two lots of ground situate In the Borough of Wormleysburg
(formerly East Pennsboro Township), County of Cumberland and State of
Pennsylvania, being Nos, 94 and 95 on Plan of Lots laid out by V. Hummel
Berghaus and known as "Edge water Plan No.2", which plan Is recorded In the
office of the Recorder of Deede In and for County of Cumberland In Deed Book
"0", Vol, 6, Page 599, begin more partlcuhuly bounded and described as
follows, tc wit;
BEGINNING et the southeast corner of Pine and Second Streets; thence along tho
east side 01 Second Street fifty (50) feet to line of lot No. 96 on said plan; thence
by the same eastwardly one hundred fifty (150) feet to River Alley; thenoe
northwardly along River Alley fifty (50) feet to the southwest corner of River
Alley and Pine Street; and thence westwardly along the south side of Pine Street
one hundrsd fifty (150) foet to a point, the place of BEGINNING,
HAVING thsrson erected a frame dwelling house known es No. 239 North Second
Street, Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania.
BEING the same premises which John E. Eberle and Ruth N. Eberle, his wife, by
their deed dated November 14, 1947 and reoorded In the Recorder's Office of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, In Deed Book "Q", Vol. 13, Page 562, granted
and oonveyed unto Allen F. Hess and Bernice C. Hess, his wife. Bernice C. Hess
departed this earthly life on July 21, 1981 whereupon full title vested In the
said Allen F. Hsss by virtue of the Law of Pennsylvania Incident to tenancies by
the entlretlas.
