mother, Dorothy G. Johnson, at 466 Broadmoor Avenue, Pitts-
burgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, 15228.
(a) Dorothy G. Johnson is not able adequately
to care for and supervise her son, and was several times
required to call on her police department for assistance
in handling Teddy.
(b) The same police department has from time
to time received complaints from her neighbors about
assaultive or other criminal behavior by Teddy.
Attached to and made part of this petition as Exhibit
A is a notice of a preliminary hearing from a district
magistrate in Allegheny County involving such complaints.
(c) Dorothy G. Johnson petitioned under the
Mental Health Procedures Act for the involuntary treat-
ment of Teddy, who as a result spent approximately 22
days in the psychiatric unit of St. Francis Hospital,
Pittsburgh.
5. The petitioner is concerned that Dorothy G.
Johnson will remove Teddy from any placement unless this Court
appoints a guardian for Teddy and, pending a hearing, enters
an order to preserve the status quo.
6. The petitioner has made arrangements to place
Teddy at Sherwood Hall, a private interim care facility in
Grantville, Lebanon County, until a suitable community living
arrangement can be made for him.
