. Gentlemen:
Please be advised that I represent William A. Robinson,
Executor of tho EstAte of Florance L. ReiL In September,
1990, Mr. Robin~on, while reviewing various personal papers,
discovered a stock certificate issued to Florence L. Reif for
200 shares of Southern National Resources, Inc. He immediately
brought to my attention this discovery at which time I
immediately contacted Sonat, Inc., formerly known as Southern
National Resources, Inc., to inquire concerning the validity
of the stock certificate. After many telephone calls and much
correspondence, I was advised to contact Manufacturer's Hanover
Trust Company in New York. Again, after months of telephone
calls and correspondence, I was advised to contact State Street
Bank & Trust Company in Boston, Massachusetts. Again, after
several telephone conversations, I was finally advised that
the stock was escheated to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In October of 1991, after receiving the information from
the State Street Bank & Trust Company of Boston, Massachusetts,
a contact was made with the Pennsylvania Escheats Departmeat.
I was advised that i nlleod the Sonat. Inc. stock and the
dividends paid on that stock were eschoated to the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania. A cluim form was finally received from the
Escheats Department on IJocember 4, 1991 and the claim form
was completed und returned to the Escheats Department by Mr.
Robinson.
On or about .June 30, 1992, the Escheats Department
forwardod u stock certiflcnto to Mr. Rohinson representing
400 shares of Sonat, lnc. stock. Tho additional 200 shares
of stock represented stock splits that occurred during the
time that the certificates were held by the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
