I, EDWIN TAYLOR FANUS, Gardners R. D. 1, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania declare this to be my Last Will and revoke any
Will previously made by me.
ITEM ONE. I direct that my funeral expenses, including my
gravemarker, shall be paid from my estate, as soon as practi-
cable after my decease, as a part of the expense of the ad-
ministration of my estate.
ITEM TWO. I give, devise, and bequeath my entire estate to
my wife, ELDA KATHRYN FANUS, if she survives me by sixty days.
Otherwise, I give, devise, and bequeath my entire estate to
my children, equally, share and share alike, per stirpes. It
is my specific desire and intent that the issue of any son or
daughter that predeceases me and my wife shall take the share
the deceased son or daughter would take if the son or daughter
were living. However, in the event of the decease without issue
of my daughter ALENE HULICK, Gardners R. D. 2, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, prior to the decease of my wife and myself, it
is my desire and intention that one-half (~) of that share to
which my daughter, ALENE HULICK would have been entitled if she
were living shall pass to the husband of my daughter, ALENE
HULICK, GEORGE tIDLICK; and that the remaining one-half (~) shall
pass to all the issue of my sons equally share and share alike
whether or not the sons themselves are deceased; and I so give,
devise and bequeath my estate.
ITEM THREE. I appoint FARMERS TRUST COMPANY, Carlisle, Pennsyl-
vania, Guardian of any property which passes to a minor and
with respect to which I am authorized to appoint a Guardian
and have not otherwise specifically done so. Such Guardian
shall have the power to use principal as well as income from
time to time for the minor's education, support, and welfare
without regard to his or her parent's ability to provide for
such education, support, or welfare, or to make payment for
these purposes, without further responsibility, to the minor
or to the minor's parents or to any person taking care of the
minor.
ITEM FOUR. I appoint my wife, ELDA KATHRYN FANUS, as Executrix
of this my Last Will. Should she for any reason fail to qualify
or cease to act as Executrix, then I appoint ALENE HULICK,
Gardners R. D. 2, Pennsylvania, and MONROE FANUS, 59 Williams
Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as Co-Executors of this my Last
Will with the same duties, powers, and discretions as if
originally appointed.
ITEM FIVE. I authorize my Executor and his or her successors
to exercise the following powers, in addition to those given
by Law, to be exercised in his sole discretion:
(a) To retain any real or personal property which may at any
time form a part of my estate so long as he deems advisable.
