I, HILDA E. SHEAFFER, of Carlisle, Cumberland County, pennsy],.
vania, do make and publ:lsh this my last will and testament, hereby
revol,ing all wills heretofore made by me.
1. I direct my executor, hereJ.nafter named, to pay all my just
debts, funeral and administrative expenses as soon as convenJ.ently
may be done after my death,
2. I give, devise and bequeath all of my property, real and
personal, to my husband, Chester H. Sheaffer.
3. If Chester H. Sheaffer does not survive me, then I order
and direct my executor, hereJ.nafter named, to sell all of my pro-
perty, real and personal, not specifically devised or bequeathed
herein, as soon as may be convenient after my decease, at either
public or private sale or sales, and in that event, I give, devise
and bequeath my property as follows:
4. I devise the house and lot of ground knovm as No. 54 East
North Street, Carlisle, Pa, (Tract No. 1 in deed of Jesse E. Stumpf,
and l'life, dated August 1, 1950) to the l1irst Evangelical United
Brethren Church, of Carlisle, Pa., absolutely. It is my desire and
wish that the property be used as a residence for the Associate or
Assistant Pastor or for the church custodian.
5. I devise the lot of ground, 25 feet by 48 feet, South of
East North Street, Carlisle, Pa. (as described in deed recorded in
office of Recordel' of Deeds of Cumberland County in Deed Book II A",
Vol. 16, page 126) to Sheaffer Brothers Sporting Goods, Inc. It is
my desire and wish that this lot be used as a parking lot for employe s
during the weel, and for l1J.rst Evangelical United Brethren Church parl,
ing on Sundays. Should the lot ever be of no value for parking pur-'
poses to Sheaffer Brothers Sporting Goods, Inc., it is my desire and
wish that the corporation sell it to the said church for a nominal
sum.
6. I devise two lots of ground in North Midd leton 'l'011Ilship,
Cumberland County, Pa., along the Conodoguinet Cree)" each lot
having a frontage of fifty feet, to June Guttshall and Glen Guttshall
her husband, conditioned, however upon their payment to my execu-
tor of the sum of $500.00 within 6 months after' the date of

year period, 1 give and bequeath this oblJ.[;atlon to the Board of
~lissions of the Eve.ngel1cal United Brethren Church, Dayton, Ohio.
13. I give and bequeath to each employee of' Sheaffer I3rothers
Sporting Goods, Inc" GO cmployed at the time of my death, having
been so employed for the preceding 5 years or more, 10 shares of
Sheaffer Brothers Sportinl!; Goods, Inc., cornman stock.
The remainder of my shares of said Gtock, I give and bequeath
to Paul S. Sheaffer.
14, I give and bequeath myoptional share account and/or full
paid certificates in the Cunillerland Valley Savings and Loan Associa-
tion, Carlisle, Pa. to the First Evangelical United Brethren Church,
Carlisle, Pa, to be used in the building fund thereof.
15. All estate, inheritance, succession and other taxes, im-
posed or payable by reason of my death, and interest and penalties
thereon, with respect to all property compris:ing my gross estate
for death tax purposes, whether or not such property passes under
this will, shall be paid out of the principal of my residuary estate
as if such taxes were adrninJ.stration expenses, vlithout apportionment
or right of reimbursement. I authorize my Executors and Trustees
to pay all such taxes at such time or times as they deem advisable.
16. Should my death and that of my husband, Chester H.
Sheaffer, occur under such circumstances that Section 3 of the Uni-
form Simultaneous Deaih Act of June 19, 19~,l P. L. 138 is held to appl, ,
then all of the GUts given above shall be reduced by 50~b thereof, so
that the glfts made by me and by my husband shall total the amounts,
etc., stipulated above but shall not be doubled by reason of our
simultaneous death.

Purpose of Notice: to fulfill the requirements of Section 709 of the Inhentance and Estate Tax Act of 1961 (72

Objections: Any party in interest not satisfied with the appraisement. allowance or disallowance of
deductions. or assessment of tax (including discount or interest) as shown on this Notice
must object within sixty (60l days of receipt of this Nolice.
Objections may be made as follows:
_ by written protest to the Department of Revenue. Board of Appeals
- by electing 10 have the matter determined at audit
- by appeal to the Orphans' Court
If any tax due is paid within three (3) months after the decedent's death. a discount of
five percent (5%) of the tax paid is allowed.

Estates that become delinquent on or before December 31. 1981 will maintain a
constant Interest rate. The rate in effect when the tax first becomes delinquent will remain
constant until t~e delinquent balance is paid in full.
Estates that become delinquent on or after January ,. 1982 will contain a variable interest
rate. Thus. taxes thai remain outstanding from calendar year to calendar year will
be subject to different rates in effect' on each January 1.

. If a tax balance remains outstanding for more than one calendar year, a separate interest

fifteen (15) days beyond the date of the assessment. If payment is made after the
