LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I, ROBERT M. DENNIS, of the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind and
memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last
Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former Wills or
Codicils by me made.
1.
I direct that my Executor hereinafter named pay all my just
debts, funeral and testamentary expenses as soon after my death
as may be conveniently done. I further direct that if I have
any loan or loans in existence at the time of my death on any
life insurance policies, such loans shall be paid from the
general assets of my estate or, if they are deducted from the
life insurance proceeds paid, the amount of the deduction shall
be reimbursed to the beneficiaries under said policies.
2.
I give the sum of $500.00 each to DENNY BOYNTON, BECKY
BOYNTON and MARION HARTZELL.
3.
I give the sum of $2,000.00 unto each of LINDA KAY BOYNTON
and ROBERT DENNIS RUTH, absolutely.
4.
I give the sum of $1,000.00 to my sister, RUTH D. WAGNER,
if she survives me.

I give the flat sterling silver and the dishes in the
corner cupboard to ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., and BETTY DENNIS, and
I give the antique molasses jug and the blue cinnamon and sugar
bowl to DOROTHY D. ALLMAN.
6.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, I give,
devise and bequeath, in equal shares, unto my children,
DOROTHY D. ALLMAN and ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., absolutely. I
further direct that if the said ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., shall
predecease me, then his share in said estate, I give, devise
and bequeath unto his wife, BETTY DENNIS. In the event my
daughter, DOROTHY D. ALLMAN, shall predecease me, then I direct
that her share shall descend equally to her sons.
7.
I direct that the personal property of which I die seized
and which shall be contained in my house shall be disposed of
by my children as they deem proper and I further request that my
children shall look after my sister in the event she shall survive
me.
8.
In the event the payment of the legacies provided for
in paragraphs 2. and 3. above to said legatees shall exceed
thirty percent (30%) of my net estate after the payment of all
just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, then I direct that

said legacies shall be reduced proportionately in order that
they shall not exceed said figure of thirty percent (30%) of my
net estate and that they shall then leave seventy percent (70%)
of the same for distribution under the residuary clause.
9.
I hereby appoint WILLIM1 F. MARTSON, Carlisle, Pennsylvania,
as Executor of my estate. In the event he shall be unable or
unwilling to serve in such capacity, then I appoint ROBERT H.
DENNIS, JR. and DOROTHY D. ALL}~N as Executors of my estate and
I direct that none of my Executors shall be required to file
any bond or bonds to secure the faithful performance of their
duties.

Martson, Executor of the Estate of Robert M. Dennis, together with a Statement of
Proposed Distribution thereon, having been presented to the Court on January 13,
1981, and the same having been confirmed and distribution awarded in aecordance
therewith, the Court does hereby award, deeree and confirm unto Dorothy D. Allman,
her heirs and assigns, all the right, title and interest of the SAid Robert M. Dennis in
and to the following described real estate:
ALL THAT CERTAIN parcel of land situate in the Borough of
Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, formerly known as the
northern half of Lot No. 223 on the plot of the Mooreland Land
Company, and having thereon erected a two-and ol1e-half story frame
dwelling house now known as 124 Parker Street, bounded and
deseribed as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the west side of Parker Street, at the
south east corner of Lot No. 222, thence southward along the line of
said street twenty (20) feet, to a point; thence, westward along the
northern line of the southern half of I,ot No. 223, now or formerly of
George L. Briner, One Hundred Twenty (120) feet to a Sixteen (16)
foot alley; tbenee, northward along the east line of said alley twenty
(20) feet to a point; thenee, eastward along the southern line of Lot
No. 222, now or formcrly of Michael B. Devlin, One Hundred Twenty
(120) feet to the plaee of BEGINNING.
SUBJECT to eertain building and other restrictions as the samc
arc attaehed and made a part of the aforesaid plot, reeorded in the
office of the Reeorder of Deeds, Cumbcrland County, Pennsylvania.

B. Hcmminger and Anna R. Hemminger, his wife, by their Deed dated
July 31, 1924, and being recorded in the Offiee of the Recorder of

Page 248, granted and conveyed unto Robert M. Dennis and Mary
Catherine Dcnnis, his wife. Thc said Mary Catherine Dennis having

the Residuary Legatees. The aforesaid residuary balance for distribution ineludes real
estate hereinafter referred to at an appraised market value of $50,000.00, and
household furnishings at a value of $1,000.00, which items are to be awarded in kind to
Dorothy D. Allman, one of the residuary legatees, and the differenee in value thereof
above her residuary share to be reimbursed to the estate in eashfor ultimate payment
to Robert M. Dennis, Jr., as set forth herein. The aforesaid household furnishings are

LAST WILL AND TESTAHENT
I, ROBERT 11. DENNIS, of the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind and
memory, do hereby make, publ ish and declare this to be my Last
Hill and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former Wills or
Codicils by me made.
1.
I direct that my Executor hereinafter named pay all my just
debts, funeral and testamentary expenses as soon a'fter my death
as may be conveniently done. I further direct that if I have
any loan or loans in existence at the time of my death on any
life insurance policies, such loans shall be paid from the
general assets of my estate or, if they are deducted from the
life insurance proceeds paid, the amount of the deduction shall
be reimbursed to the beneficiaries under said policies.
2.
I give the sum of $500.00 each to DENNY BOYNTON, BECKY
BOYNTON and MARION HARTZELL.
3.
I give the sum of $2,000.00 unto each of LINDA KAY BOYNTON
and ROBERT DENNIS RUTH, absolutely.
4.
I give the sum of $1,000.00 to my sister, RUTH D. WAGNER,
if she survives me.

I give the flat sterling silver and the dishes in the
corner cupboard to ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., and BETTY DENNIS, and
I give the antique molasses jug and the blue cinnamon and sugar
bowl to DOROTHY D. ALLMAN.

All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, I give,
devise and bequeath, in equal shares, unto my children,
DOROTHY D. ALLMAN and ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., absolutely. I
further direct that if the said ROBERT M. DENNIS, JR., shall
predecease me, then his share in said estate, I give, devise
and bequeath unto his wife, BETTY DENNIS. In the event my
daughter, DOROTHY D. ALLMAN, shall predecease me, then I direct
that her share shall descend equally to her sons.
7.
I direct that the personal property of which I die seized
and which shall be contained in my house shall be disposed of
by my children as they deem proper and I further request that my
children shall look after my sister in the event she shall survive
me.
8.
In the event the payment of the legacies provided for
in paragraphs 2. and 3. above to said legatees shall exceed
thirty percent (30%) of my net estate after the payment of all
just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, then I direct that

I hereby appoint HILLIAB F. HARTSON, Carlisle, Pennsylvania,
as Executor of my estate. In the event he shall be unable or
unwilling to serve in such capacity, then I appoint ROBERT M.
DENNIS, JR. and DOROTHY D. ALL~~N as Executors of my estate and
I direct that none of my Executors shall be required to file
any bond or bonds to secure the faithful per formange of their
duties.
