LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

S. LUTHER BEETEM
I, S. LUTHER BEETEM, of 40 W. G street, carlisle,
cumberland county, pennsylvania, declare this to be my last
Will, hereby revoking all prior Wills and codicils.
FIRST: The expenses of my last illness and funeral
shall be paid from my estate.
SECOND: I give all of my property, real and personal,
to my wife, MARY E. BEETEM, provided that if she dies before the
thirtieth day following the day of my death this gift shall
lapse or be divested and I give such property to my issue living
at the death of the survivor of my wife and myself, per stirpes.
Particular items shall be allocated among my issue as they agree
or, if they cannot agree, as my Executors decide.
THIRD: I appoint my Executors as Guardians with
power (i) to hold for minors all property payable by law to a
guardian appointed by my Will; (ii) after considering the minor's
wishes, to retain tangible personal property or deliver it to the
person standing in the place of a minor's parent, without bond;
(iii) to invest the balance of the minor's property and all
accumulated income without restriction to investments authorized

for fiduciaries: and (iv) to use income and principal for the
minor's maintenance and education, either directly or by
payment to any person selected to disburse it whose receipt
shall be a complete acquittance therefor. All unexpended
principal and income shall be paid to the minor at majority.
Guardians may, in discharge of all duty hereunder,
pay any minor's share deemed impractical of administration to the
person standing in place of the minor's parent or deposit it in
an interest bearing account in the minor's name.
FOURTH: No interest of any beneficiary under this
will or any codicil hereto shall be subject to anticipation or
voluntary or involuntary alienation, and the personal receipt of
such beneficiary shall be the sufficient and only discharge of
my Executors unless otherwise provided herein.
FIFTH: In addition to powers given them by law, my
Executors and their successors, shall have the following powers,
applicable to all property held by them, effective without court
order and until actual distribution:
(a) TO retain any property received by them, including
the stock of any corporate fiduciary acting hereunder:
(b) To sell real estate for any purpose, publicly or
privately, for such prices and on such terms as they deem proper,
without liability on the purchasers to see to application of the
purchase moneys;
(c) To compromise controversies:
(d) To distribute in cash or kind or both at such
valuations as they may fix: and
(e) To hold investments in the name of a nominee.
SIXTH: All taxes, interest and penalties thereon
payable by reason of my death with respect to property comprising
my gross taxable estate, whether or not passing under this Will,
shall be paid from the principal of my residuary estate.
SEVENTH: I appoint my wife, MARY E. BEETEM, and my
children, DOROTHY M. SUNDAY, and SAMUEL L. BEETEM, or the
survivor of them, Executors under this my Will. No fiduciary
acting hereunder shall be required to post bond or enter security
in any jurisdiction.

~ENERAL INHERITANCE TAX INFORMATION
Unsatisfied liabilities incurred by the decedent prior to his/her death are deductible against his/her taxable estate.
In addition to debts incurred by the decedent or estate, Dther items are claimable including the cost of administration,
attorney fees, fiduciary fees, funeral and burial expenses including the cost of a buriallDt, tombstone or grave marker.
All debts being claimed against an estate are subject to the approval of the Register Df Wills with WhDm the
Inheritance Tax Return is filed. Evidence tD support the decedent's or the estate's liability for the debts being claimed
shDuld be attached to this schedule.
A family exemption of S2,OOO may be claimed by a spDuse of a decedent who died domiciled in Pennsylvania.
If there is no spouse, or if the spDuse has forfeited his/her rights, then any child of the decedent who is a member of
the same household can claim the exemptiDn. In the event there is nD such spouse or child, the exemption can be
claimed by a parent or parents who are members of the same household as the decedent. The family exemption is
allowable only against assets which pass by a will or by the Pennsylvania Intestate Laws,

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING SCHEDULE "F"
1. If the family exemption is being claimed, indicate the claimant's name, address and his/her relationship to the
decedent. Enter "family exemption" in the remarks column and the amount claimed in the amDunt column.
2. Assign consecutive numbers to each item listed.
3. Enter the date on which each debt was incurred and/or paid.
4. Enter the names of each payee.
5. Provide a brief explanation in the remarks column for each debt claimed.
6. Enter the amount of each debt being claimed.
7. The form must be signed by the person who has assumed the responsibility for paving the debts.
