Willhide, executor of the estate of Leo F. Willhide, a/k/a Leo S. Willhide, deceased, by and through his attorney, Sally J. Winder, and petitions your Honorable Court for an order directing the form of distri- bution of the interest of a certain minor beneficiary, Heather Renee Snyder, in the said estate, and respectfully represents as follows: 1. That pursuant to Paragraph Third of the Last Will and Testament af the said decedent, it was directed that the sum of $1,000.00 be devised and bequeathed to decedent's granddaughter, Heather Renee Snyder. Heather Renee Snyder is a minor, having been born on October 5, 1973. 2. That the said Heather Renee Snyder is to receive as her distributive share of the estate the full sum of $1,000.00 of the net distributable estate account as confirmed in the First and Final Account and Proposed Schedule of Distribution on October 13, 1981 by this Court. 3. That the total value of the distributable estat~ to the said minor is $1,000.00 and that in view of the small size of the said estate of Heather Renee Snyder, establishment of a formal trust account would be wasteful; utilization of sequestered bank accounts is a more economical and practical method of preserving the estate of the aforesaid minor. 4. That pursuant to the powers granted in Section 5103 of the Penn- sylvania Probate, Estate and Fiduciaries Code, your Honorable Court has ~s::: 108 PAGE '77'7 ,- John McCree 111 Attorney At Law Newville & Shlppenlburg Penn.. authority and power to direct that the estate of Heather Renee Snyder be deposited in a sequestered account in her name, in a bank, building and loan association or savings and loan association insured by a federal government agency; to wit, a sequestered savings account in Peoples National Bank of Shippensburg. 6. That the minor herein named shall not be capable of effecting any withdrawal from any such account until the minor obtains her majority, except as authorized by a prior order of this Court. WHEREFORE, your petitioner prays that the estate of the said minar of a value of less than $10,000.00 be paid and deposited into a sequestered savings account to be held in the name of the minor, deposited in Peoples National Bank of Shippensburg, in accordance with Section 5103 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code, without the appointment of a guardian or the entry of any security.
