LAST WILL AND TESTAHENT
I, ABRAM E.RODGERS, of Middlesex Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish and declare this
to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all
former Wills or Codicils by me made.
1.
I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses,
testamentary expenses and all inheritance taxes shall be paid
from my residuary estate as soon as practicable after my decease
and as part of the administration of my estate,
2.
At such time as cash is available, I give unto each of my
granddaughters, JOYCE A. RAUDABAUGH and BERNICE L. RODGERS, the
sum of THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00),
3,
I give, devise and dispose of my homeplace containing
approximately eight (8) acres and a dwelling and outbuildings
as follows: I give and devise to my daughter, BERNICE RODGERS
MADER, two acres of ground from said homeplace, absolutely, my
said daughter to pay the taxes and all other expenses on said
real estate. The remaining approximately six (6) acres of land
I give and devise unto my son, ROBERT L. RODGERS, for and during
the term of his natural life. In the event he shall be survived
by CLAIRE PAULINE RODGERS as his widow, I then further give and

devise said premises to her for the remainder of her natural
life but so long as she shall remain the unremarried widow of
ROBERT L, RODGERS,
Upon the death of ROBERT L. RODGERS, or the termination
of the interest of CLAIRE RODGERS, whichever shall last occur,
I direct that said premises shall be sold and the proceeds
divided in accordance with my residuary clause, During said
life estate, the life tenant shall be responsible for all taxes,
utilities and expenses to maintain the property.
4,
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both
real and personal property, I give in equal shares unto my
children, ROBERT L. RODGERS and BERNICE RODGERS HADDER
absolutely and I direct that in the event of the death of either
of my said children, his or her share shall pass to his or her
children.
5.
I hereby appoint BE&~ICE RODGERS MADDER as Executrix of
my estate and direct that she shall not be required to file any
bonds to secure the faithful performance of her duties, I
direct that she shall retain the services of WILLIPJ{ F, MARTSON,
Carlisle, Pa., as attorney in the settlement of my estate.

County, Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish and declare this
to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all
former Wills or Codicils by me made.
1.
I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses,
testamentary expenses and all inheritance taxes shall be paid
from my residuary estate as soon as practicable after my decease
and as part of the administration of my estate,
2.
At such time as cash is available, I give unto each of my
granddaughters, JOYCE A. RAUDABAUGH and BERNICE L. RODGERS, the
sum of THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00).
3.
I give, devise and dispose of my homeplace containing
approximately eight (8) acres and a dwelling and outbuildings
as follows: I give and devise to my daughter, BERNICE RODGERS
MADER, two acres of ground from said homeplace, absolutely, my
said daughter to pay the taxes and all other expenses on said
real estate. The remaining approximately six (6) acres of land
I give and devise unto my son, ROBERT L. RODGERS, for and during
the term of his natural life. In the event he shall be survived

ROBERT L. RODGERS.
Upon the death of ROBERT L. RODGERS, or the termination
of the interest of CLAIRE RODGERS, whichever shall last occur,
I direct that said premises shall be sold and the proceeds
divided in accordance with my residuary clause. During said
life estate, the life tenant shall be responsible for all taxes,
utilities and expenses to maintain the property.
4.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both
real and personal property, I give in equal shares unto my

absolutely and I direct that in the event of the death of either

LAST WILL AND TESTAlIENT
I. ABRAM E.RODGERS, of Mi.dd1esex Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish and declare this
to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all
former Wills or Codicils by me made.
1.
I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses,
testamentary expenses and all inheritance taxes shall be paid
from my residuary estate as soon as practicable after my decease
and as part of the administration of my e$tate.
2.
At such time as cash is available, I give unto each of my
granddaughters, JOYCE A. RAUDABAUGH and BERNICE L. RODGERS, the
sum of THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00).
3.
I give, devise and dispose of my homep1ace containing
approximately eight (8) acres and a dwelling and outbuildings
as follows: I give and devise to my daughter, BERNICE RODGERS
MADER, two acres of ground from said homep1ace, absolutely, my
said daughter to pay the taxes and all other expenses on said
real estate. The remaining approximately six (6) acres of land
I give and devise unto my son, ROBERT L. RODGERS, for and during
the term of his natural life. In the event he shall be survived
by CLAIRE PAULINE RODGERS as his widow, I then further give and

devise said premises to her for the rem~inder of her natural
life but so long as she shall remain the unremarried widow of
ROBERT L. RODGERS.
Upon the death of ROBERT L. RODGERS, or the termination
of the interest of CLAIRE RODGERS, whichever shall last occur,
I direct that said premises shall be sold and the proceeds
divided in accordance with my residuary clause. During said
life estate, the life tenant shall be responsible for all taxes.

4.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both
real and personal pr.operty, I give in equal shares unto my
children, ROBERT L. RODGERS and BERNICE RODGERS l~DER
absolutely and I direct that in the event of the death of either
of my said children, his or her share shall pass to his or her
children.
5.
I hereby appoint ~ERNICE RODGERS MADDER as Executrix of
my estate and direct that she shall not be required to file any
bonds to secure the faithful performance of her duties. I
direct that she shall retain the servi~es of WILLIPM F. MARTSON,
Carlisle, Pa., as attorney in the settlement of my estate.

Proposed Distribution thereon, having been presented to this Court on May 3, 1983,
and the same having been confirmed and distribution awarded in accordance therewith,
the Court does hereby award, decree and confirm unto Robert L. Rodgers for life,
remainder to Bernice Rodgers Mader, her heirs and assigns, and to the heirs of Robert
L. Rodgers, as tenants in common, all the right, title and interest of the said Abram E.
Rodgers in and to the following described real estate:
ALL that certain tract of land situate in Middlesex Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, having thereon erected a two-and-one-half-story
frame dwelling on a two-acre lot, plus approximately seven acres of
woodland, and being more particularly bounded and described in Deed Book
"A", Volume 6, Page 411.
LESS, HOWEVER, all that certain tract of land being known as Lot Number
Three (#3) as shown on Plan of Final Resubdivision from the Abram E.
Rodgers Estate dated May 21, 1982, revised July 14, 1982, and September
7, 1982, and recorded in Cumberland County Plan Book 42, Page 68, and
containing two and nine thousandths (2.009) acres which tract is the same
tract of land which Bernice Rodgers Mader, Executrix of the Estate of
Abram E. Rodgers, late of Middlesex Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, granted and conveyed unto David J. Raudabaugh and Joyce
A. Raudabaugh, husband and wife, as Tract No. 1 by her Deed dated
September 16, 1982, and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds
in Cumberland County in Deed Book "X", Volume 29, Page 282.
ALSO LESS, HOWEVER, all that certain tract of land being known as Tract
Number Two (#2) as shown on Minor Subdivision Plen for the Abram
Rodgers Estate dated November 30, 1981, and recorded in Cumberland
County Plan Book 41, Page 99, and containing thirty-seven hundredths
(0.37) acres which tract is the same tract of land which Bernice Rodgers
Mader, Executrix of the Estate of Abram E. Rodgers, late of Middlesex
