and declare this to be my Last Will und 'l'astament, heraby
revokillg and maldng void any and all other Wj,lls by me at

1. I direct the paymont of my just debts fmd funeral
expenses, !I.S soon ufter my death as may be convenient to my
Jl1xeoutor he1;einaHer named.
2. I direot said Executor to puy from the funds of my
estate all inheritance, transfer, suooession and estate
taxes payable withrespeot to my estate.
3. Provided she Bhall survive me, I specifically give
and bC;lqueath to my wife, Carde E. Hoover, my household
fl~rni tu,re, furnishings and equipment, my automobile, my
petsohal effects in~cihded for my personal use and all
insurance thereon.
4. If my wife, Carrie E. Hoover, shall surv~ve me,
I 'iJiVe, devise alld bequeath to her in fee em amount equal to
fifty (50%) percent of the V!l.lue of my adjusted gross estate
as finally determined for federal estate tax purposes,
undiminished by any est!l.te, inharitance, transfer or sucoes-
sion taxes, either state Dr feCleral, less the aggregate
value of all interests in property, if any, which pass to my
said wife under other provisions of this Will or which
pass to her for her benefit otherwise than under 'this Will,
by operation of law, through life insurance, or otherwise,
but only to the extent that such interests are included in
determining my gross estate and are allowable as marital
deductions for fedel'al estate tax purposes. ,My Executor

I give, devise and bequeath the rest, residue ,and remainder
of l1\Y estate to my son, Vernon A. HQover, IN TRUST for the
following uses and purposesl
A. TO invest the money, seou:d,ties and other
property of said trust in common or preferred stocks,
bonds, debenturest mortgages, deeds of trust, or other
secur.ities or property as said trustee, in his absolute
and sole discretion and in ~he eKercise of his sound
and prudent judgment, may deem proper for such invest-
mentwithout being restrioted to the forms of investment
to which trustees may otherwj,se be restrioted by law,
and said trustee' may receive and hold in the form in

A. If my wife and I die simul~aneously, qr

shall be deemed to have survived me for the purposes of
this Will.
B. If any person shall be required to survive i'\ny
other pets on in order to take an interest under this
Will, the former sholl not be deemed to have survived
,~f he or she and such other person shall die in a
cOl11ll1on disaster, under circumstapco;ls which ml'lke it
difficUlt to determine who died first.
8. I name, constitute and appoint my son, Vernon A.
Hoover, to be the Executor of this Will. In the eVent ~y
son, Vernon A. Hoover, shal.l predecease me or 'be unable or
unwqlinc;l ,to act as ExeCUtor of this Will i or in the event
of his death or inoapacityafter having been appointed and
qualified as suoh Executor, I name, constitute and appoint
my son, George C. Hoover, to be Executor in his place. If
any ~inor benefioiary under this Will. shall not have a
lega],ly appointed guardia'n of his or he,r estate at the time
suoh Qeneficial interest comes into existence, I appoint
Dauphij\ Deposit Bank and 'l'rust companY, Harrisburg,Pennsyl-
,vania, to be testamentary"guardian of such beneficiary.
SUoh guardian shall have full discretionary power to apply
and pay any part or all of the share of such beneficiary for
his or her proper maintenance, medical, sUrgioal and hOl1lpital
