5. The alleged incompetent's estate consists of the
, following assets:
The alleged incompetent receives monthly income
from the fOllowing sources: Social Security only, approximately
Two Hundred Dollars ($200,00) per month.
6. The alleged incompetent is not a member of the
Armed Forces of the Uni.ted STates, nor is he receiving benefits
from the United States Veterans Administration or its successor.
7. The alleged incompetent is, because of mental
infirmities, unable to manage his property, and is liable to
dissipate or lose the same, or become the victim of designing
persons, and is unable to care for himself,
8. The proposed guardian of the person and the estate
of the alleged incompetent is Roy G. Lingle, who has no interest
adverse to that of the alleged incompetent.
9. No other court has ever assumed jurisdiction in
any proceeding to determine the competency of the alleged in-
competent.
10. No other guardian has been appointed for the estate
of the alleged incompetent,
\'1HEREFORE, the Peti tioner requests the court, pursuant
to Pennsylvania Probate Estates and Fiduciary Codes, S 5511, to
award a citation directed to the alleged incompetent, with

1. The above matter was commenced by the issuance of
a citation by the Clerk of the Orphans I Court of Cumberland County
on September 23, 1981.
2. A hearing was set for the determina Hon of the
competency of George E, Lingle on Friday, October 30, 1981, at
\1:30 P.M.
3. The Petitioner now, for family reasons, desires to
withd.raw his Petition for the Adjudication of the incompetency
of George E. Lingle.

CITATION
WE COMMAND, you that laying aside all business and excuses
whatsoevor, you be and appear in your proper person before the
Honorable Judges of the Common P~eas Court, Orphans' Court Division
at a session of the said Court there to be held, for the County of
Cumberland to show cause why he should not be adjudged an incompetent
and a guardian be appointed of his estate alld person: the time and place of
hearing are fixed for Court Room No. 1 Court House, carlisle,
pennsyl~nia, on the 30 day of Oct., 1981, at 1:30 o'clock, P.M.
At least 20 days written notice of the hearing shall be given to
George E. iiingle the alleged incompetent, by serving .George E. Lingle
personally with a citatioa and a copy of the foregoing petition and
this order of court: and at le~st ten (10) days written notice of
the petit.ion and hearing shall also be given to the next of kin
and other parties in interest named in the petition, either personally
or by registered or certified mail.

Enclosed you will find the green return receipt cards for
the supplementary notices which I served on Arlene Phillips
and Shirley Gaffney, the daughters of the alleged incompetent,
George E. Lingle, pursuant to your directi.ons. The origi.nal
of the Notice, along with a certificate of service, is in the
file.
I have also enclosed the consents, which were executed by
both ladies. Also enclosed is the original and two copies of
the Final Decree in the estate.
Since Mr. Lingle will simply be receiving the Social Security
payments each month, and passing them through to the Cumberland
County Nursing Home, I am requesting that no bond be required
of the proposed Guardian.
I would appreciate it if, upon execution of the Final Decree,
a certified copy be returned to me. I have enclosed a self-
addressed stamped envelope for that purpose.
