North Middleton Authority, North Middleton Township, County of Cumberland,
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by its solicitor, Martson Deardorff Williams Otto Gilroy &
Faller, hereby files its claim for sewer services against the real estate hereinafter described
and sets forth its claim as follows:
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
The name of the municipality by which this claim is filed is North Middleton Authority, a
municipal authority of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, located in the County of
Cumberland and organized pursuant to ordinances of North Middleton Township.

The name or names of owner or owners or reputed owner or owners, of the property against
which this claim is filed are Timothy C. Berrier and Lisa A. Berrier of 1116 Newville Road,
Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

A description of the property against which this lien is filed is attached hereto and marked as
Exhibit "A" with an address of 1116 Newville Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The authorities under and by virtue of which this lien is filed is the Municipal Claims and
Liens Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, as amended and supplemented, 53 P.S. 7101 et seq.

The lien is claimed for unpaid sewer user fees against the above-described property in the
amount of $4,700.00.

Interest is claimed on the above-mentioned amount from September 20, 2006.

BETWEEN VIRGINIA. ADAMS, widow, of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter
referred to as:
Grantor,
and TIMOTHY C. BERRIER and LISA A. BERRIER, husband and wife, of Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter referred to as:
Grantees,
in consideration of ONE HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND AND 00/100 ($190,000.00)
DOLLARS, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the Grantor does hereby grant and convey
to the Grantees, their heirs and assigns:
ALL THOSE CERTAIN lots of ground with the improvements thereon situate in the
Township of North Middleton, County of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania,
bounded and described as follows:
TRACT NO.1- BEGINNING at a point in the middle of the concrete road between
Carlisle and Newville; thence in a southerly direction two hundred seven (207) feet
along lands now or formerly of Edward R. Lay et ux to an iron pin in the northern
line of a sixteen (16) foot alley, thence at right angles along said alley west Fifty (50)
feet to an iron pin; thence at right angles along lands now or formerly of Edward R.
Lay et ux North two hundred seven (207) feet to a point in the middle of the aforesaid
concrete road; thence along the middle of said road East fifty (50) feet to a point, the
place of BEGINNING.
SAID lot herein described being Lot No. 16 according to the Plan of Lots laid out by
Edward R. Lay on October 11, 1924, said Plan of Lots being recorded in the Office
of the Recorder of Deeds in and for the County of Cumberland in Plan Book 2, Page
40.
TRACT NO.2 - BEGINNING at a point in the middle of the concrete road between
Carlisle and Newville; thence in a southerly direction 207 %: feet along land now or
formerly of Theodore Goodhart to an iron pin in the northern line of a 16 foot alley;

thence at right angles along said alley west 50 feet to an iron pin; thence at right
angles along lands now or formerly of Amos Evans North 207 %s feet to a point in the
middle of the aforesaid concrete road; thence along the middle of said road East 50
feet to a point the place of BEGINNING.
SAID lot herein described being Lot No. 17 according to the Plan of Lots laid out by
Edward R. Lay on October 11, 1924, and said Plan of Lots being recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County, in Plan Book No. 2,
Page 40.
BEING the same premises which Marlin M. Bishop, Jr., and Patricia M. Bishop,
husband and wife, by their deed dated May 5, 2005, and recorded in Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania Deed Book 268, Page 3978, granted and conveyed unto
Virginia Adams, widow, Grantor herein.
AND the said Grantor hereby covenants and agrees that she will warrant specially the
property hereby conveyed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said Grantor has hereunto set her hand and seal the day and year
first above written.
