COMPLAINT
AND NOW, Plaintiff, Commerce Bank/Harrisburg, N.A., through its counsel, Mette, Evans
& Woodside, brings this Complaint before the Court, in support of which it avers as follows:
1. Plaintiff is Commerce Bank/Harrisburg, N.A. ("Commerce Bank"), a national
banking association with an office at 100 Senate Avenue, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011-8599.
2. Defendant Christopher John Blewett is an adult individual who, upon information and
belief, resides at 4012 95th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79423.
3. On September 15, 2000, Defendant executed and delivered to Commerce Bank a
promissory note ("Note") evidencing his obligation to Commerce Bank "to pay * * *the principal
amount of Sixty Thousand & 00/100 Dollars ($60,000.00), together with interest at the rate of
9.950% per annum on the unpaid principal balance from September 15, 2000 until paid in full." A
true and correct copy of the Note is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference.

Commerce Bank advanced the full sum of $60,000.00 to the Defendant under the
5. Pursuant to the Note, Defendant covenanted and agreed that he would pay the
indebtedness as provided in the Note and that the whole principal sum and interest would become
due at the option of Commerce Bank in the event that Defendant failed to keep, observe or perform
any of the covenants, conditions or agreements contained in the Note.
6. Defendant has defaulted in the performance of his obligations under the Note by, inter
alia, failing to pay monthly installments of principal and interest due as required under the Note.
7. Commerce Bank has provided Defendant with written notice of his default.
8. Defendant has failed and refused to cure his default under the Note.
9. Commerce Bank has called the Note and declares the unpaid principal balance,
together with accrued interest, attorneys fees and costs, all as provided therein, to be immediately
due and payable.
10. The following amounts are currently due and owing Commerce Bank on the Note:
Unpaid principal balance under the Note (Exhibit "A")
Interest accrued and unpaid as of January 28, 2003
($14.37 per diem)

complete payment or collection)
Attorneys' fees and costs of suit

WHEREFORE, Plaintiff respectfully requests that judgment be entered in its favor against
Defendant Christopher John Blewett in the amount of $61,421.64, plus interest at the per diem rate
of $14.37, late fees, all costs of collection and all costs of suit and attorneys' fees, all as provided
in the Promissory Note and as allowed by law, and awarding Plaintiff such other relief as is just
under the circumstances.
