The letter went on 10 slate that Mother feared and felt intimidated by Father but gave no reasons for these alleged feelings. 1', The parties and counsel then spent the next couple of months finalizing the economic issues related to the divorce and child support. It was Father's belief that if Mother's concerns about the economic mallcrs wcrc addrcssed. she may be more willing to become more cooperative regarding the maller of child custody but, unfortunately. such has not occurred, g. Anderson on October 28, 1998, Also attached is an order scheduling a custody conciliation on December 3, 1998 at 3:00 p,m, before Michael L. Bangs, Esquire. Your receipt of these materials constitutes service upon you pursuant to the Pennsylvania Rules ofCil'il Procedure. It was necessary for us to send these papers to you directly as your dil'orce attomey. Carl Wass, Esquire, is not your counsel of record for purposes of a custody action. Because of my relationship with Mr. \\lass, I ordinarily would have given him a counesy telephone call to let him know we were initiating this action but I understand that you have changed counsel. I would appreciate your having your new counsel contact me at his or her earliest convenience, When I wrote to Mr. Wass last ~1arch to suggest parenting counseling, it was in the hope of avoiding formal legal custody proceedings because such proceedings take such a financial and emotional toll on evel)'one involved, panicularly the children. Thus, we still hope that we may be able to resolve this matter withoutli, igation, either between counselor at the concjJiation stage, Sincerely.
