BORDA, by and through their attorneys, Mette, Evans and Woodise, and make
this Complaint, in support of which aver as follows:
1. Plaintiffs, Catharine M. Borda and Rodney L. Borda, wife and
husband, are adult individuals residing at 218 Cockley Drive, Mechanicsburg,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17055,
2, Defendant L. B. Smith, Inc. is a corporation doing business at 2000
State Road, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, PA.
3. The accident hereinafter related occurred on or about January 30,
1997, at or about the West Shore Plaza parking lot.

11. The Defendant had legal notice that the metal rebarb was sticking
out of the pavement in the parking lot prior to the Plaintiffs accident and failed to
take steps to remove it or warn the Plaintiff of this dangerous condition.
12, As a direct result of the Defendant's negligence, carelessness ancVor
recklessness, the Plaintiff sustained serious injuries including:
(a) gross facial hemorraging;
(b) facial swelling;
(c) facial scars;
(d) injuries to her mouth;
(e) six-seven stitches in her cheek;
(D permanent facial scarring;
(g) deformity to her right hand;
