WHEREAS, Carlisle Church of Christ of 971 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013,
is about to enter into a contract with R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania,
for the construction of Renovations and a New Multi-Purpose Room Addition to their facility at 971
Walnut Bottom Road, South Middleton Township, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
NOW, March 19, 2003, at the time of and immediately before the execution of the principal
contract, and before any authority has been given by the said Carlisle Church of Christ to the said
R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., to commence work on the said building, or purchase materials for the
same in consideration of the making of the said contract with R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., and the
further consideration of One Dollar to R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., paid by Carlisle Church of Christ
it is agreed that no lien shall be filed against the building or property by the contractor, nor any
subcontractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen nor any other person for any labor, or
materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased for the completion of said building, the
right to file such liens being expressly waived.
