Leader Insurance Company is an Alabama insurance company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with a principal place of business located at Central Recovery Branch, P.O. Box 11626, Birmingham, Alabama 35202. 2. Defendant, Heather Sylvia Davis, is an adult individual with a principal place of residence located 7614 Gum Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21222. 3. As of May 4, 2001, an adult individual named Raymond Thompson, (hereinafter Thompson), maintained automobile insurance through Leader Insurance Company. 4. On or about May 4, 2001, Defendant was operating a cargo van in the Carlisle fairgrounds, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 5. Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on May 4, 2001, Thompson had parked his vehicle in a properly designated parking spot in the Carlisle fairgrounds. 6. Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on May 4, 2001, Defendant caused her cargo van to strike the parked vehicle owned by Thompson. 7. Defendant negligently operated her vehicle in that she failed to avoid the properly parked vehicle of Thompson. As a result of the Defendant's negligence, Thompson's vehicle suffered damages in the amount of $2,143.01. 8. Plaintiff, Leader Insurance Company, paid for said repairs pursuant to the terms of the collision policy it had with Thompson. WHEREFORE, Plaintiff, Leader Insurance Company, demands judgment against the Defendant, Heather Sylvia Davis, in the amount of $2,143.01 together with interest fi:om May 5, 2001, as well as costs of suit.
