and the Court having been advised that a condemnation proceeding to acquire an estate in fee
simple of 3,045 Acres of Land, more or less. in Cumberland County. Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, was instituted to the captioned action. and the United Slates Postal Service being
desirous of nOlifying all persons, corporations. partnerships and linns in the County in which
said land is located, to wit: Cumberland County. Pennsylvania. of and concerning the said
proceedings in condemnation. and this Court having been requested for pernlission to tile a

the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, daled July 9.1976, P.L. 586, No.
142, Seclion 2, effective June 27,1978, as amended; 42 P,S, SS 4301. 4302 and 4304 and such
other acts of Assembly properly relating thereto, the Prothonotary of Cumberland County.
Pennsylvania. be and is s hereby directed to give nOlice of lis pendens. as follows:
I. By filing a certified copy of this Order and lhe Lis Pendens Notice attached hereto
in the Ejectment and Miscellaneous dockets or in such other dockets which are provided by
Order of Court or by statute of Pennsylvania for such purpose.
2. These proceedings shall be indexed as follows:

Defendants: East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County,
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
3. The Clerk of this Court is hereby directed to transmit the above-mentioned

Notice is hereby givenlhat on the 9th day of September, 1998, a Complaint in
Condemnation was filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of
Pennsylvania, which is a condemnation proceeding brought on behalf of the United States Postal
Service to acquire the said land to provide necessary postal facilities in furtherance of the official
purposes of the United States Postal Service for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. The
purported OW1\er and interested party is described in Schedule "\3", attached hereto and made a
part hereof. 'Il\e use for which this property is taken and the authority for the taking arc set forth
in Schedule" A", attached hereto and made a part hereof,

AUTHORITY FOR THE TAKING:
The authority for the taking of the land is under and in accordance with
the Act of Congress approved February 26, 1931 (46 Stat. 1421; 40 U.S.C.
s258a) and acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof; and under the
further authority of 39 U.S.C, SS 401(9) and 41 0(b)(4)(A). Funds sufficient to pay
all costs of the taking are available. See 39 U,S,C. SS 2003, 2005, 2008(c), and
2401.
PUBLIC USE:
The public use for which said land is taken is to provide necessary postal
facilities in furtherance of the official purposes of the United States Postal
Service.

SCHEDULE "B"
ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate in East Pennsboro
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and being mOle fully bound and
described as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the bed of Center Street (S.R. 1015), the
southeast corner of the herein described premises; said point being S 15
degrees 34' 12" E a distance of 450.43 feet from the intersection of Center Street
(S.R. 1015) and Magaro Road (T-625). Thence leaving the bed of Center Street
and along the northern line of land now or formerly Theodore E. & Winifred E.
Sgrignoli S 81 degrees 39' 18" W a distance of 237,59 feet to a concrete
monument on the eastern required right-of-way line for Relocated S.R, 1015
(Proposed); thence along said right-of-way line the following three (3) courses
and distances:
1. N 25 degrees 37' 26" W a distance of 31.80 feet to a point.
2. S 65 degrees 23' 31" W a distance of 32.00 feet to a point.
3. Along a line curving to the left having a radius of 2912,79 feet, an arc length
of 406.70 feet and having a chord bearing of N 28 degrees 36' 29" W a distance
of 406.37 feet to a point on the southern required right-of-way line of Magaro
Road (T-625).
Thence along said right-of-way of Magaro Road (T-625) N 44 degrees 00' 59" E
a distance of 47.20 feet to a point; thence continuing along same N 84 degrees
42' 21" E a distance of 329.11 feet to a point in the bed of Center Street (S.R.
1015); Thence in and through Center Street (S.R. 1015) S 15 degrees 34' 12" E
a distance of 417.25 feet to a point, the place of BEGINNING,
CONTAINING 3,045 Acres.
