MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR TOWNSHIP SiERVICES AND SEWER. RATES
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township, of 1220 Boiling Springs
Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 17055, by and through its
Solicitor, James D. Bogar, Esquire, and files the following
municipal claim against Steven E. Hurley and Beverly J. Hurley,
husband and wife, adult individuals, owning property located at
923 Nixon Drive, Monroe Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, their last known address being: 923 Nixon Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 17055. Steven E. Hurley and Beverly
J. Hurley, husband and wife, are the owners of all that certain
lot of ground, including any improvements located thereon, being
more fully described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN LOT of land situate in Monroe
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being more
particularly bounded as described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of a fifty (50)
foot wide right-of-way now known as Nixon Drive, as shown on
the plan of lands of Helen Myers in Monroe Township recorded
in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for said
County of Cumberland in Plan Book 3, page 80, at corner of
lands now or formerly of Carl F. Myers, said point being
nine hundred sixteen and thirty-seven hundredths(916.37)
feet measured westwardly along the center line of said
right-of-way from the western line of the Williams Grove

feet wide right-of-way, now known as Nixon Drive~ thence by
the center line of said right-of-way north sixty-seven (67)
degrees fqrty-five minutes east forty-seven and nine-tenths
(47.9) feet to a point~ thence by the same north seventy
(70) degrees thirty (30) minutes east thirty-seven and one-
tenth (37.1) feet to the point or place of Beginning.
HAVING ERECTED THEREON a dwelling house being known and
numbered as 923 Nixon Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
BEING the same pedesis which Vernon E. Hurley, widower,
by Deed dated October 2, 1975, and recorded October 2, 1975,
in the cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed
Book "G", Volume 26, page 828, granted and conveyed unto
steven E. Hurley and Beverly J. Hurley, husband and wife,
Owners.
Tax Property Map Parcel Number: 22-24-0783-106
Monroe Township hereby files this Municipal Claim for
services and sewer rates levied and assessed from March 7, 1997,
through and including June 30, 2000 (first calendar quarter 1997
through and including second calendar quarter 2000).
Said Township services and sewer rates are levied and assessed
pursuant to Township Ordinance No. 96-10, same being known and
cited as the "Monroe Township Sewer Rental and Charge Ordinance",
as amended. Attached hereto and incorporated herein are the
statements forwarded by Monroe Township to Steven E. Hurley and
Beverly J. Hurley for sewerage treated from March 7, 1997,
through and including June 30, 2000 (first calendar quarter 1997

through and including second calendar quarter 2000), which
services total is in the amount of $1,328.39, which sum was duly
assessed against steven E. Hurley and Beverly J. Hurley, husband
and wife, and the real property described herein from the date of
said billing statements as attached hereto, and for which sum,
with interest in the amount of ten (10%) percent, along with
penalties and all costs, and including attorney fees, a municipal
lien is claimed against the above-described real property and
premises in accordance with the Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207,
~7, as amended, 53 P.S. ~7101, et seq, as amended (Municipal
Claims and Tax Liens).
