MOTION FOR CONTINUANCE
Plaintiff, Angel A. Smith, by and through her counsel, Joan Carey of Legal Services, Inc.
states the following:
1. Plaintiff, Angel A. Smith, filed a pro se Petition for Special Relief in the above
captioned case on July 28, 2000.
2. An Order of Court was entered on July 28, 2000, granting her relief including primary
custody and scheduling a hearing for August 3, 2000 at 10:45 a.m. See attached Order of Court
incorporated by reference,
3. Plaintiff retained Legal Services, Inc to represent her in the custody matter,
4, Defendant, Andre B, Pornel, retained Allen Moyer of The Law Offices of Leslie D.
Jacobson, who filed on his behalf a Complaint for Custody which was captioned Pornel vs.
Smith and docketed in this Court at 2000-5296.
5, The parties, by and through their counsel, have agreed to continue the hearing since
they are in the process of resolving the custody matters by consent agreement.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff requests that the custody cases be consolidated, the hearing
generally continued, and the Order of July 28, 2000 remain in effect.
