the foregoing application and on the motion of Philip H. Spare, Esquire, Attorney for the Big
Spring School District, the prayer ofthe foregoing application is granted and the following
persons are hereby appointed School Police Officers for the Big Spring School District for the
year ending June 30, 2001, said persons being subject to the powers, duties and requirements of
the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778) upon compliance with
the other requirements of the aforesaid Act:

PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT OF SCHOOL POLICE OFFICERS
TO THE HONORABLE, THE mDGES OF SAID COURT:
The Big Spring School District by its Solicitor, Philip H. Spare, Esquire, of the law firm
of Snelbaker, Brenneman & Spare, P.C. does hereby make application to this Court for the
appointment of School Police Officers for the Big Spring School District under the provisions of
the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778), and represents as
follows:
I.
That the Big Spring School District is a duly organized and constituted school district
located in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2.
That said Big Spring School District is desirous of and in need of School Police Officers
to act as policemen of said School District.
3.
That the Board of School Directors of the Big Spring School District has by resolution

adopted on May 22, 2000, designated the following named persons to act as School Police
Officers for the school year ending June 30, 2001, subject to the appointment by your Honorable
Court:
