MUNICIPAL LIEN
1. Claimant is the Township of Shippensburg, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, with its principal office located at P.O. Box 219, Shippensburg,
Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, 17257.
2. Randy Atherton and Deborah E. Atherton are the owners ofthe property
against which this Municipal Lien is filed and whose last known address is 408 South
Fayette Street, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, 17257.
3. The property against which this Municipal Lien is filed is all that tract of
land with improvements thereon situated in the Township of Shippensburg, County of
Cumberland, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being known and numbered as 408
South Fayette Street, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania 17257.
4. The authority under which this Lien is filed is the Municipal Claims Act of
1923, P.L. 207, as amended (53 P.S. ~7101, etseq).
5. This Municipal Lien is filed to secure an interest for property clean up after
the failure of the Defendants to maintain their property in accordance with Township
Ordinances.
6. Statement of Claim: See attached exhibit-reflecting details supporting total
due.
7. The clean up charges were duly established, levied and assessed by the
Township of Shippensburg, County of Cumberland, Commonwealth ofPenhSylvania
being the lawful authority for doing so under certain Ordinance of the Township and
pursuant to the Second Class Township Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

which govern such matters in which were levied, established anq assessed for the
purpose for providing for the health, safety and welfare of the citilzens of the Township
of Shippensburg.
WHEREFORE for all the above reasons, the Township of Shippensburg hereby
does place a lien against the said property in the amount of $643.80.
