JACKSON, Defendant CIVIL ACTION - LAW COMPLAINT 1. Reliance Finance Company has a place of business located at 3810 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. 2, Stephen A. Jackson resides at 455 N. West Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. 3. On or around February 20, 1997 Stephen A. Jackson purchased a 1991 Mercury Topaz automobile from Auto-Max of Carlisle. The same was assigned to Reliance Finance Company on February 20, 1997. 4, At the time of sale, Reliance Finance Company and Stephen A. Jackson entered into a motor vehicle installment sale contract. A copy of the same is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". 5. Said motor vehicle installment sale contract required Stephen A. Jackson to pay to Reliance Finance Company 36 monthly payments of $161,06 beginning on March 20, 1997, 6. Stephen A. Jackson is delinquent on his payments owed to Plaintiff. 7, The current balance owing by Stephen A. Jackson to Reliance Finance Company on the aforesaid motor vehicle installment sale contract as of June 27, 2000 is $1,754.00. -I' i' ,-. . , 8. Reliance Finance Company has requested that Stephen A. Jackson pay the aforesaid balance, however, he has refused to pay the same. 9. The aforesaid installment sale contract provides for the recovery of reasonable attorney fees which in this case equal to $475.00. WHEREFORE, Reliance Finance Company requests judgment against Stephen A. Jackson in the amount of $1,754.00 plus $475.00 in attorney fees for a total of $2,229,00.
