MUNICIPAL CLAIM FOR TOWNSHIP WASTE AND RECYCLABLES
COLLECTION SERVICES AND RATES
AND NOW, comes North Middleton Township, of 2051 Spring Road, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, by and through its Township Manager, Deborah A Steffee, and files the following
municipal claim against Joseph E. Etter, as an adult individual, owning property located at 160
Wertz Run Road, Carlisle, North Middleton Township, Cnmberland Connty,
Pennsylvania, their last known mailing address being: 160 Wertz Rnn Road, Carlisle, Pa.
17013. Joseph E. Etter is the owner of all that certain lot of ground, including any
improvements located thereon, being more fully described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN tract ofland situate in North Middleton Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center of the public road leading from the Carlisle Springs
Road to the Wertz School House; thence by the center of the above public road South 33
degrees 30 minutes East, 6523 feet to a point; thence along lands now or formerly of
george W. Dittenhafer, South 62 degrees 30 minutes West, 310 feet to a stake; thence by
same South 27 degrees 30 minutes East. 262 feet to a stake; thence South 37 degrees 30
minutes West, 195 feet to a stake; thence South 57 degrees 15 minutes West, 239.5 feet
to a hickory tree; thence along lands now or formerly of Mrs. Elmer Lay, North 3 degrees
West, 458 feet to a stake; thence North 45 degrees 45 minutes West, 622 feet to a stone;
thence along lands now or formerly of John Hoy North 55 degree 15 minutes East, 6263
feet to a point in the center of the public road leading to the Wertz School House, the
place of BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 103 acres.
BEING the same premises which Joseph E. Etter and Jane E. Etter, his wife, by Deed
dated January 28, 1994, and recorded in the Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds

North Middleton Township hereby files this municipal claim for municipal waste and
recyclables collection services and rates levied and assessed from August 5, 1997 through an
including September 30,2000 (third calendar quarter 1997through and including third calendar
quarter 2000). Said Township municipal waste and recyclables collection services and rates were
levied and assessed pursuant to Township Ordinance No, 97-6, same being known and cited as
the "North Middleton Township Solid Waste and Recycling Ordinance of 1997", as amended by
Township Ordinance No, 99-5, Attached hereto and incorporated herein are the statements
forwarded by North Middleton Township to Joseph E. Etter for municipal waste and recyclable
collection services from August 5, 1997 through and including September 30,2000 (Third
calendar quarter 1997 through and including third calendar quarter 2000, which services total in
the amount of$ 455.80, which sum was duly assessed against Joseph E. Etter and the real
property described herein from the date of said billing statements as attached hereto, ad for which
sum, with interest in the amount of ten (10%) percent, along with penalties as provided in the
within referred to Township ordinances and all costs, including attorney's fees, a municipal claim
is claimed against the above-described real property and premises in accordance with the Act of
May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, g7, as amended, 53 P,S. g7101, et seq. As amended (Municipal Claims
and Tax Liens).
