MUNICIPAL CLAIM FOR TOWNSHIP WASTE AND RECYCLABLES
COLLECTION SERVICES AND RATES
AND NOW, comes North Middleton Township, of2051 Spring Road, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, by and through its Township Manager, Deborah A. Steffee, and files the following
municipal claim against Sydney H. Miller, an adult individual, owning property located at 850 E.
Louther Street, Carlisle, North Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
their last known mailing address being: 850 E. Louther Street, Carlisle, Pa. 17013. Sydney H.
Miller is the owner of all that certain lot of ground, including any improvements located thereon,
being more fully described as follows;
ALL THAT CERTAIN tract ofland situated in North Middleton Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
On the North by East Louther Street extended; on the East by lot now or formerly of
Samuel Miller; on the South by an alley, and on the West by lot now or formerly of Fred
A. Shaffner, containing thirty (30) feet in front on said East Louther Street extended and
extending at an even width two hundred and forty (240) feet in depth to the alley ,
aforesaid, Being Lot No. 12 in Block No.4, according to the Plan of Lots adopted by 1.
H and G. M, Bosler, said Plan being recorded in the County of Cumberland aforesaid in
Miscellaneous Record Book 13,Page 181.
BEING the same premises which Sara E. Grossman and Herbert L. Grossman, her
husband; Gladys Kaplan and Arnold Kaplan, her husband; and Leona Frank and Marvin
Frank, her husband, all being the heirs of the Estate of Samuel Miller, by Deed dated
October 1, 1988, and recorded in the Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in
Deed Book "Q", Volume 33, Page 507, granted and conveyed unto Sidney H.
Miller,Owner.

recyclables collection services and rates levied and assessed from August 5, 1997 through an
including September 30,2000 Ethird calendar quarter 1997 through and including third calendar
quarter 2000), Said Township municipal waste and recyclables collection services and rates were
levied and assessed pursuant to Township Ordinance No. 97-6, same being known and cited as
the "North Middleton Township Solid Waste and Recycling Ordinance of 1997", as amended by
Township Ordinance No, 99-5, Attached hereto and incorporated herein are the statements
forwarded by North Middleton Township to Sydney H. Miller for municipal waste and
recyclable collection services from August 5, 1997 through and including September 30,2000
(Third calendar quarter 1997 through and including third calendar quarter 2000, which services
total in the amount of$ 446,91, which sum was duly assessed against Sydney H. Miller and the
real property described herein from the date of said billing statements as attached hereto, ad for
which sum, with interest in the amount often (10%) percent, along with penalties as provided in
the within referred to Township ordinances and all costs, including attorney's fees, a municipal
claim is claimed against the above-described real property and premises in accordance with the
Act of May 16, 1923, PL. 207, g7, as amended, 53 P.S, g7101, et seq. As amended (Municipal
Claims and Tax Liens),
