WAIVER OF LIENS
WHEREAS, Kamand Construction, with offices at 203 Lvnndale Court. Mechanicsbura,
Pennsvlvania 17050, hereinafter called "Contractor", entered into a contract with Dickinson
Township whose office is located at 219 Mountain View Road, Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania,
17065, hereinafter called "Owner", to provide materials and perform labor necessary for the
Dickinson Township Municipal Building Expansion, Contract No. 98143-A - General Construction,
in the County of Cumberland and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being the same premises which
ElmerT. and Elizabeth U. Bixler, by their Deed dated the 11'h day of February, 1974, and recorded
in the Recorder's Office in and for Cumberland County, at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book
Vol. M25, page 702, granted and conveyed unto Dickinson Township.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby stipulated and agreed by and between the said parties, as part
of the said Contract and for the consideration therein set forth, that neither the undersigned
Contractor, any Subcontractor or material supplier, nor any other person furnishing labor or
materials to the said Contractor under this Contract shall file a lien, commonly called a mechanic's
lien, for work done or materials furnished to the said building or any part thereof.
This stipulation is made and intended to be filed with the County Prothonotary in accordance with
the requirements of Section 1402 of the Mechanics Lien Law of 1963 of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania in such case provided.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties hereto have hereunto set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be executed by their proper corporate officers, and their respective
corporate seals hereunto affixed, this 7th day of November , 2000.
