COMPLAINT
NOW comes the plaintiff, by her attorney, Harold S. Irwin, III, Esquire, and files
this complaint, representing as follows:
1. The plaintiff, Helen R. Mell, by her attorney-in-fact, Polly A. Thompson, is
an adult individual residing at 399 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania 17013.
2. The defendant is Corey R. Mell, and adult individual residing at 858 West
Louther Street, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17013.
3. On February 24, 1 998, at the special request and oral insistence of the
defendant, plaintiff loaned to the defendant the sum of $800.00 in order to assist the
defendant in purchasing a truck.
4, Under the terms of the parties' agreement, defendant agreed to repay the
loan in eight weekly installments of $100.00, beginning no later than one week after the
defendant's start of employment.
5. Although defendant has been employed since the date of the loan, he has
failed to make any payments whatsoever on this loan, contrary to the provisions of the
parties' agreement.

6. The plaintiff, individually and through her attorney-in-fact, Polly A.
Thompson, have made numerous requests to the defendant that he repay this loan.
7. The defendant, however, has failed and refused to make any payments of
any amount to the plaintiff and continue so to refuse despite the fact that more than two
and one-half years have passed since the loan was to be repaid in full.
WHEREFORE, plaintiff demands judgment against defendant in the sum of Eight
Hundred and noli 00 ($800.00) Dollars, plus cists of this action.
