FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the undersigned promises to pay to the order of
ROGER L. HOSFELT of Penn Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, without
offset, with interest at Nine (09%) Percent per annum, on demand the amount of Thirty-
One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Nine and Twelve Hundredths ($31,459.12)
Dollars. If this note is placed in the hands of an attorney for collection, the undersigned
agrees to pay as a reasonable attorney's fee Ten (10%) Percent of the amount due and
owing on this default note. To secure payments of this note, the undersigned hereby
authorizes, irrevocably, the Prothonotary, Clerk of Court, or any Attorney of any Court of
Record to appear for the undersigned in such Court at any time before or after maturity
and confess a judgment against the undersigned in favor of any holder of this note with or
without the filing of an Averment of Default, with release of errors, without stay of
execution, and for such amount as appe~rs above, together with charges, attorney's fees
and costs as herein provided, and the undersigned hereby waives and releases all benefit
and relief from any and all appraisement, stay or exemption laws of any State, now in
force or hereafter to be passed,

has eJqllained to the undersigned that the note contains wording that would permit Seller to enter
judgment against it at the courthouse, whether or not said note is in default, without notice to the
undersigned and without offering the undersigned an opportunity to defend against entry of
judgment, and that judgment may be collected by any legal means.
