: PROTECTION FROM ABUSE
PETITION FOR RETURN OF WEAPONS
Petitioner, Larry C. Zimmerman, by his attorneys, Broujos & Gilroy, P.C., sets forth the
following:
I
Petitioner is Larry C. Zimmerman, an adult individual residing at 86 Dewalt Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, 'Pennsylvania.
2
The above captioned action is a protection from abuse action and this Court has issued a
Protection from Abuse Order (Order) dated January 19,2001. At Paragraph 5 of the Order,'
Defendant in the above matter, Donald Edward Vernet, Jr., was required to relinquish any
firearms in his possession to the Cumberland County Sheriffs Office.
3
At time of service and execution of the Order by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office,
various guns were seized from the Defendant. Included in the guns seized from the Defendant
were the following weapons:
A. Browning 7mm-08 Bolt Action with scope, in case.
f~-$,,,l,,~ "l!_lI, ~ _of T _' .-,
, I 0 ~
B. Browning 22-250 Bolt Action with scope, in case.

E. Winchester Model 1100 Auto Loader.
F. Colt 45 Butline in Spanish holster.
G. Winchester 1200,12 gauge pump.
4
The weapons as set forth in Paragraph 3 above are the property of Petitioner. They were in the

through trade with other gun owners. The gun listed as the Colt 45 Butline is, in fact, registered
in the name of the Petitioner.
5
Petitioner desires return of his weapons and Petitioner intends to secure the weapons in question
and not allow Defendant any further access to the weapons.
6
Some of the weapons in question are collector items and are very valuable guns from a monetary
standpoint and a personal standpoint to the Petitioner.

At time of service and execution of the Order by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office,
