Counties, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by its Solicitor, FOREST N MYERS, Esq.,
hereby files its claim for $454.60 against the real estate hereinafter described and
sets forth its claim as follows:
STATEMENT OF ClAIM

The name of the municipality by which this claim is filed is Cumberland-
Franklin Joint Municipal Authority, a municipality authority corporationonhe
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, located in the Counties of Cumberland and Franklin
and organized pursuant to ordinances of the various townships creating CF JMA.

The name or names of the owner or owners or reputed owner or owners, of the
property which this claim is filed is Nan L HAWKS.

A description of the property ,know and numbered as 3 Scrafford Street,
Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, against which it is filed is attached hereto and marked
Exhibit "A".

The authorities under and by virtue of which this lien is filed is the Municipal
Claims and Liens Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. !i207, as amended and supplemented, 53
P.S. !i51101, et seq.

BETWEEN Oliver Guy Mellott and Marie L. Mellott, husband and
wife, of 2725 Heidlesburg Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 17325,
Grantors,
AND Nan L. Hawks, widow and single person, of 3 Scrafford Street,
Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, Grantee.
WITNESSETH that in consideration of the sum of THIRTY THOUSAND
FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($30,400.00) f in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said Grantors do grant and
convey in fee simple to said Grantee, her heirs and assigns,
ALL that certain tract of land with the dwelling house and other
improvements thereon erected, situate in the Township of
Southampton, County of, Cumberland and Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, more particularly bounded and described as 'follows:

BEGINNING at a spike on the northern line of Sorafford street
which spike is 215 feet East of.the intersection of said Scrafford
street with mainsville Road and which spike is on the dividing
line of Lots Nos. 1 and 2 on the hereinafter mentioned plan of
lots; thence along the Eastern line of Lot No.1, North 22
degrees, 30 minutes West, 118.43 feet to a stake; thence North 67
degrees, 30 minutes East, 118.43 feet to a stake; thence North 67
degrees, 30 minutes East, 125 feet along the line of land now or
formerly of' H. W. Geesaman heirs to a stake; thence South 22
degrees, 30 minutes East, 118.43 feet to a point, a mark on a wall
on the North side of Scrafford street aforesaid; thence South 67
degrees, 30 minutes West, 125. feet along the Northern line of
Scrafford street to a spike, the place of BEGINNING.
BEING Lot No.2 and the western 35 feet to Lot.No. 3 on the plan
of lots of Ralph A. Scrafford, which plan is recorded in the
office for the recording of deeds for Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, in Plan book No.5, Page 19.
AND HAVING thereon erected a one story frame dwelling house known"
and numbered as No. 3 Scrafford Street.
