Hoffer, P.l on June 22, 1998 pursuant to Petitions to appoint a Permanent Guardian of the Estate and Person of Catherine Dennison. This action was taken as part of an effort to move the control and responsibility for Ms. Dennison's assets from Allegany County, Maryland to Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in view of Ms. Dennison's removal from Maryland and her lack of intention to return thereto. As part of the move of the administration and control of Ms. Dennison's assets, a close-out Fiduciary Report was rendered to the Circuit Court for Allegany County, Maryland. A true and correct copy of the said report which covered the period from July 1, 1997 to September 9, 1998 was attached to the said First and Partial Accounting submitted to your Honorable Court as "Exhibit A" The official Order terminating the Maryland Guardianship was also attached to the said Accounting as "Exhibit B." (The original Exhibits "A" and "B" are accordingly not being attached hereto. We have enclosed a copy of the accounting filed with the court by Linda Willis, court-appointed guardian of Catherine S. Dennison. In some respects, Pennsylvania law is a little peculiar regarding accounting requirements and who is necessarily to be served notice of the filing. We have to serve notice on all those named in the will AND all blood relatives within a certain degree of relationship and regardless of whether or not the particular relative is named in the will or not. Therefore, you should not necessarily expect to obtain anything upon Mrs. Dennison's death just because you have received a notice of the accounting. You need not do anything in connection with this notice. However, should you wish to file objections to any part of the Account, you must do so in writing to the Clerk of the Orphans' Court and in a form consistent with the Supreme Court and Local Orphans' Court Rules before 9:00 A.M. on April 24, 2007.
