IN RE: APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN
ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this 22nd day of June, 2006, upon
consideration of the petition of the Carlisle Regional Medical
Center, and after hearing, the Court does find by clear and
convincing evidence that Robert D. Young currently lacks
sufficient ability to receive and evaluate information
effectively and to make or communicate responsible decisions
concerning his physical health and safety, and an emergency
guardian is needed to protect him in order to provide him with
proper medical treatment.
IT IS ORDERED AND DIRECTED that Judy Britten, the
incapacitated person's mother, is appointed emergency guardian of
the person of Robert D. Young from this date until the full and
complete guardianship hearing, which is directed to be held on
Friday, July 7, 2006, at 3:30 p.m.
In the interim, Judy Britten lS authorized to consent
to the placement of a feeding tube into the person of Robert D.
Young to insure proper delivery of both nutrition and medication.
